IIT Jodhpur Campus life is fun-rich

My overall experience here is awesome. Compared to other second generation IITs it has better infrastructure and faculty-student bonding. Here we get single occupancy fully air-conditioned rooms from first year onwards, which brings you more effectiveness and productivity. Fests make your college life fun. Branch change option for B.Tech after first year is also available on CGPA basis. Overall IITJ provides you a great college life.

I got enrolled in Bio-Engineering branch of Bachelor of Technology course through JOSAA counseling. Bio-Engineering combines biology with modern technology for mostly research purposes. It includes courses like Genetics, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, etc. Eligibility criteria is that you have to be in top 2,50,000 ranks in Joint Entrance Exam Mains and in top 15,000 ranks in Joint Entrance Exam Advanced to get enrolled in IITJ. Branch-wise cutoff of B.Tech in IIT Jodhpur can be viewed through official JOSAA website. My motive for joining was to gain knowledge to contribute to the medical field through the fusion of technology.

Most of the professors are highly qualified (mostly Ph.D holders). The HoD of Bio-Engineering - Mrs. Mitali Mukherjee studied from IISC Banglore, one of the most renowned institutes of India. All belong from a very humble background. All professors practice modern methods of education. The classrooms are also well equipped with all facilities.

Yes we do have Placement Cell which is highly active. It really helps students with professional development be it internships or placement.

Yes, all the hostels of IIT Jodhpur have rooms with facilities like table, chair, fan, almirah, AC, bed, and more. Inter hostel competition are held every year for engagement. Hostels have Table-Tennis room, Gym, Common rooms, etc.

IIT Jodhpur campus is build with a vision to harness green energy through windmills, corridors, etc. Campus has different shops for every need. Clock tower is an iconic structure here. Academic blocks include Admin building, Library and Lecture Hall Complex. Other buildings are Mess (Non-Veg and Veg), Sports Complex, Shamiyana (for recreational activities), and Berms.

College is not only about studies, but it's a balance of everything including friends, parties, fun, and fests. A variety of fests are held annually for providing a fun-rich campus life to students and gives them break from academics. Fests are: - Ignus, Varchasva, Prometeo, Spandan, Intellia, etc. The night life is also great here. Various clubs are also present to enrich your experience like: - FrameX, Robotics, Shutterbugs, Nexus, Cyclotrots, Literature society, etc. Overall campus life is great here. You get helpful seniors with 100 percent ragging free campus.
