At first I thought SGGSCC is an off campus college so it might not be worth attending since I was an outstation student. But with time I realised that this was one of the best choices of my life as the environment this college provides is unbelievably surreal to me. I got this college through the CUET entrance test. I believe SGGSCC is no less than the hyped up North campus colleges. The crowd here is good too.

I am in B.Com and the course curriculum matches with that of the University of Delhi. Entry is based on your CUET marks. You can expect to land in B.Com (Hons.) if you have 750+ and for B.Com you should have 730+. I chose this course because it gave me time to explore other career options as well.

The faculty here is one of the best throughout the University of Delhi. Each and every teacher is great at teaching. Their teaching approach is very kind and cheerful. You can ask them your doubts during any hour of the day. Most of them won't even think twice before addressing your doubts.

This college has a good Training and Placement Cell. By good I meant it is very active in providing placement activities. It not only helps student to land jobs at dream companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. but also provides training sessions to make the students career oriented. The highest package in the year 2024 went up to 23 LPA.

Hostels are indeed available, but only for the girls. Being an outstation student, this was a bit of a disappointment for me as I wanted a hostel room. As per a few of my friends, the hostel is very decent and secured. A security guard is always seen near the main entrance of the hostel. They also provide CCTV surveillance and other facilities like laundry. The hostel food is good too. For the boys, I'd say it's not that difficult to find a PG. Pitampura is full of PGs and flats for anyone to find.

The infrastructure is great too. Every class has a whiteboard, blackboard and ACs which are useful during the scorching summers of Delhi. The college also has sports facilities like a big cricket ground, lawn tennis, football, volleyball and basketball court. The college library is fully automated and books can be issued and returned using ID cards. There is a big auditorium which is to be used for college functions.

The overall campus life is quite good here. I never felt the urge to leave this college for a North campus college. The students do well in academics, college societies and co-curricular activities. SGGSCC provides an environment for everyone to open up and grow.
