MIT Thandavapura admissions are by KCET or Management Quota

Maharaja Institute of Technology is situated in Thandavapura, Mysore. It is has the best academics to study. There are some cultural events that go on. Bus facilities are available. The institute’s timings are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. I went to this institute by the CET process and took the Computer Science and Engineering branch. I choose this college because of the quality of education provided here.

I am a student in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. I took this course because I wanted to become a full stack developer. Admission is done through KCET or management quota. I went through KCET and my ranking was 46k. I was allotted a general seat. Engineering has now has lost its scope, but it is like the evergreen field. If you learn Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning alternatively together you will achieve a good successful career.

The faculties in MIT Thandavapura are the best for teaching. They take care of each and every student in the university. The teachers are comfortable with both English and Kannada, so that there will be no problem in the quality of teaching. They will teach many times if you don't understand any concept or topic. We can score well in the internal marks of the final VTU exams, if we follow the teacher’s guidance. All the teachers in this university have completed their masters and some teachers are even Ph.D holders. Our principal is an IIT graduate.

This university has been established in 2016. Now it's 2024 and this university has completed 8 years. MIT Thandavapura has a Training and Placement department where they educate the students for aptitude tests and give an idea about the interviews. The placements in our university are good. The top package of the university was 14 LPA. Placements for the Mechanical and Civil branches are faster. The average package is 5 LPA. Every year from all branches around 20 to 30 students get placed in good companies.

The hostel is located next to the university itself. The hostel has 8 rooms. In a single room there are 6 beds, study table and cupboards for the students to keep their belongings. Food is provided 3 times a day and a snack meal is also offered. The solar water is provided too. The hostels have separate washrooms.

As you enter the university there is a parking lot for the staff and students on the left side of the foot path. There is a huge ground at the center on the right side of the footpath. There are 22 buses which are parked on the ground. You will see that this university has an amazing infrastructure with a tomb in the centre. As you enter the building there is a reception area where the PA of the Principal will be seating. One the left side there is an office where the admission process will be held. Adjacent to that you can see the classrooms for the fresher. Parallel to the Principal’s office is the examination office. Next to this are the classes for the Physics cycle, for the freshers who have opted for their chosen course. On the left side of the first floor is the Electronics and Communication department, whereas on the right side is the Mechanical department. Each department has their own lab and staff room. The second floor consists of the Computer Science and Engineering department as well as the Civil Engineering department. The third floor has the AIDS department on its left side and the MCA department on its right side. This completes the whole infrastructure. The campus has a canteen and a bakery. Adjacent to the university building you can see the stationary store and the hostel.

MIT Thandavapura has a huge campus, with big grounds to play games. A fest is held every year. Each department conducts events, making it bloom and exciting for the students. There are auto expos, dance performances, DJ nights, etc. There are clubs for each department. You will be offered to join the departmental clubs to gain knowledge. There will be hackathons held every month and competitions held every 6 months.
