Mithibai College BMM Admissions are done through CUET and 12th Marks

Mithibai College is located in Vile Parle, Mumbai. It is one of the best colleges for Arts, especially for the BMM course. The faculty of BMM is quite good and vast. Students are given one to one personal guidance. There are many departments in this college that give students practical knowledge, The Mithibai Film Society is one of them. There are other extracurricular activities like fine arts, sports and drama that all comes under the MCC Mithibai Cultural Committee. One of the most popular fests is organised here.

The criteria for getting in BMM is to give the CUET exam (Common University Entrance Test). Both your 12th marks and CUET score are taken under consideration for admission. The admission happens on the basis of the merit list. There are reservations for the Gujarati minority; this gives them a special advantage. The motive is to get the perfect knowledge about movies, theater and the Media field.

The faculty of BMM is pretty great. The subjects help to increase the practical and theoretical knowledge of the students. All the professors are quite qualified and the permanent faculties are the best. Although, the visiting the faculty is not that good as compared to the permanent faculty. Frequent exams are conducted in the department to test if the students have any doubt. Each and every student is given personal attention and guidance.

Yes, there is a department for providing training and placements to the students. The placement cell helps students to get internships. This fosters students to gain practical knowledge of the department that they are studying in.

No, we don't have any hostel facility in the college. But there are various hostels and PGs available at walking distance from the Mithibai College. There are only buildings throughout the campus. There is not much of a campus life here.

This college consists of three other colleges. There is a 9-storey building having AC classrooms. There are many labs like the science labs and media lab that provides practical knowledge to the students. The field visits and industrial visits provide the students with all the knowledge required and observation of the actual working of the industry.

There is no such ground in this college, but there are various departments like MCC that provide many extracurricular activities. The Mithibai Film Society (MFS) is one of the most helpful societies for the BMM students. The fest of this college is called ‘Kshijt’. It is the best and biggest fest of Asia as it invites many celebrities and film stars. This fest is held mostly in the end of January. It is one of the most energetic and joyful fests. This college also conducts inter-college competitions.
