Asutosh College Kolkata admission is fully based on 12th board marks

Asutosh College is situated in South Kolkata. This college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and rated A+ in NAAC. It is one of the most renowned colleges in West Bengal. My overall experience in the institution is very nice, the environment is very good and everyone is very helpful. I am in 4th semester now and it was a wonderful experience for me.

The course I'm doing is BA Hons. In Political Science. There are a lot of courses which students can opt for Science, Arts and also Commerce. The admission process is very simple. There is no entrance exam or interview for admission. Entry to this institution is fully base on 12th boards marks. Students with 80% in 12th from any board can easily get admission in this college. You just need to apply online from the college portal itself and wait for the results.

The faculty of this college is very nice. Professors are highly educated and talented. They make lectures very interactive and easy for us to learn and understand things. They try to teach every topic elaborately in an easy way. Different seminars and programs are conducted by different professors every month. There are also faculty exchange programs where professors from different colleges come to teach us.

The infrastructure of the college is good but small. The buildings and classrooms are well maintained and there are lifts for everyone. One common room where everyone can hangout. There is a canteen in the main building. Also, there are 3 libraries in the college and an auditorium in the main building. All the functions and programs are held in the auditorium. Other than this there are 3 more buildings blocks for official and technical work. The college also has a gym for students.

The campus life in Asutosh College is really fun and happening. Juniors and seniors are really very good and helpful. Students from different states and cities come here to study. There are many clubs like dance, singing, band, drama, sports and more. Everyone can join these clubs as per their choice. Sports competitions and many other events and fests are organised here in winters.
