Overall Rating
You can get admission by scoring through the NEET exams. After scoring you have to get the par score which changes every year depending on a lot of factors. Then you will have to participate in the admission counselling process. It is an online centralised admission process with offline verification at the college.
 

Academics Rating
MBBS truly is one of the hardest courses. It is completely skilled and application based. This enables the student to have better training and more practical experiences. This college regularly conducts exams as per the National Medical Commission and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties are medical doctors and excel in their particular branch. In lectures the teacher student ratio is 1:150 whereas for practicals it is 1:25. So you better put more emphasis on the practical and skill based aspect of medicines. Many of the faculties are quite approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Internships are compulsory in a medical college, without it you will not be offered the degree. There is a 1 year rotatory internship in different departments and hospitals, where the student gets hands on experiences. The updated stipend in Maharashtra is Rs. 18000.
 

Hostel Rating
Each hostel room is shared by 3 people. You will get a fan, 3 beds, a table and a cupboard. Other things you will have to bring on your own. The quality of the mess food is a personal opinion. Some people will find it to be average while others find it below par. But the food options are never a problem because you will find a variety of options to choose from. The hostel admission process takes place annually and students are informed beforehand. It’s an offline process.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This campus has a college building, a newly designed Super Specialty OPD and a casualty building. The college also has an auditorium, a badminton court, a table tennis court and a gym. Overall, the campus is lush green and big. It is situated in the heart of the city of Latur. This college has a good security with guards all over the place.
 

Campus Rating
The college holds one big cultural event every year followed by many small events like Shivaji Jayanti, Ganesh Utsav, Garba Night and many more. A wide range of books are available in the library which can be accessed by the students. The classrooms have had some changes. There are smart boards in some of the lecture halls. This college does have clubs and social groups but are still very new, so I won’t comment on them.
