My journey at GLS Institute of Computer Application

Overall Rating
My overall review is that I have no problem with GLS Institute but honestly I felt sometimes that the fees is quite higher than usual, otherwise it has great facilities and education system. The faculty is also great at teaching and provides extra knowledge to students. Other than that the infrastructure of my department is excellent.
 

Academics Rating
The BCA Program with Dual specialisation is one of the best courses provided by GLS. I felt relief when I came to know that my college provides BCA with dual specialisation (AL / ML & Web Developing). At this point it looks worthy to choose GLS for BCA course. Not only the program but the faculty also organises extracurricular activities for developing the skills of the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are always helpful and supportive towards the students. They have higher degrees and have great experience along with skills. Some of the faculty members are at Ph.D level which is good for the students to learn from them. The faculty was always nice to me which makes me happy to study here.
 

Placement Rating
GLS provides the most placements around the city. I will write my honest review because I have a cousin who graduated from GLS and got placement with higher package in a good company. The average package for placement at GLS is 2-3 LPA and the highest is 11 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
GLS Institute doesn’t provide any hostel facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is really good and well designed. My own class has 6 ACs and there is also a projector which makes learning more easily. The Labs are really good with high internet facility and computers for students. There is also an auditorium which has superb designs and is best for conducting events.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at GLS is amazing because it offers a vibrant student life with numerous clubs like dance, music, drama, sport and many more. There are ample opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities, ranging from sports to cultural events. The college regularly organise events, fests, competitions and seminars for students.

    The infrastructure and faculty of this institute is very good. It provides BCA with dual specialization. You can pursue BCA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It also gives you the option to do BCA in Web Development. This institute provides us a canteen, library, and computer lab facilities. We can borrow books from the library.     I joined this institute back in 2023, it is like a big lavish campus with the different buildings for every department. It has two canteens in the institute and around the institute there are many food chains and stall. It lies in the middle of the city that too has connectivity of BRTS bus. There are five computer labs in the building and Lab assistants are always there to help us out.
