KIT's College of Engineering hostel life is good

KIT is the one of the best Engineering colleges in Western Maharashtra. The overall environment of this college is very good. The staff is very co operative with the students. Placement drives are conducted by the college frequently and are helpful. The overall academic system is transparent and efficient. The exams are also simple, students feel relaxed when it comes to the academics. The teachers are well experienced. They always help students with opportunities for their career. There is an advantage studying in an autonomous college.

The B.Tech course here has almost every essential branch. The eligibility for admission in B.Tech is to pass the 12th board exam with 50% aggregate in PCM. The MHT CET and JEE Mains percentiles are also considered. Admissions are done through the process of CAP rounds of the CET cell. I am a student of the Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) branch. This branch is designed by TCS, especially to give students an upgraded degree which has CSE + Management.

The faculty is very well experienced and qualified. They are able to teach students with ease by carrying out practices. Every semester students can give feedbacks of the teachers in their department. This system helps students to get the necessary teaching they want. Every department's HOD has a Ph.D. and is highly experienced. The HOD organizes various helpful events for the students every semester. The internal marking system is transparent and resourceful. The teachers are always ready to clear doubts of the students.

A placement cell is there at our college. It is responsible for every student's placements. The placement cell brings many companies to the campus. Companies like TCS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Tata Power, John Deere, Knorr-Bremse, etc. visit the college frequently to hire students. The average package offered is 6LPA and the highest package is 40LPA.

The hostel life is very good. Students are free to roam anywhere in the campus. There are very less restrictions for the hostel students. The security of the college hostel is very strict. Thus, the hostellers feel safe. The mess and hostel rooms are decent. There is a big playground for the students to play anytime. Also, the college organizes some events especially for the hostellers.

The campus of this college is huge. It is full of departments, canteens and greenery. The campus is clean and well maintained. The parking of the college is also well organized. The departments in this college campus are very huge. The classrooms and labs are very modern and updated. The campus has free Wi-Fi access. The college library is open for the students anytime and provides free books.

The campus life is very joyful. The students are mostly from the local area or the same state. There is a healthy environment between juniors and seniors. The events managed by this college are so entertaining yet useful. There are various clubs in each department which encourage extracurricular activities. They are supported by the college faculty. Students get many opportunities through these club events. There is even a sports day and annual event conducted by this college. The annual event has many singing, dancing and talent shows. Students can nurture their hobbies through this.
