Manipal University Jaipur- A Real Gem

Overall Rating
I don't regret coming to MUJ for my undergraduate degree. After being here awhile I can say that academically, it has been a very competitive journey. The campus life and hostels will give you the experience you paid for! If you can afford this university, then go for it.
 

Academics Rating
I would suggest getting into the Computer branches as the placements are fairly good if you are an above average student. The course for CSE is well designed but I have a few qualms with the Electrical subjects that are included in the second year. Study and score good in the first year is what I would suggest as from the second year it’s you against relative grading!
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the CSE department is not the best, they are pretty average. But not all the professors are bad; in fact our DSA professor is the best faculty I have had ever since I joined here. Most of them are approachable and knowledgeable about their subject. Just pay attention in class.
 

Hostel Rating
Even though the in-campus hostels are expensive, they are very well maintained. I love the AC rooms available here. We have smoke detectors installed in our rooms, so it’s fairly safe too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks are a bit of a walk in the summers, but they are well built and totally worth an Instagram post. The ACs in the classrooms actually work and most of the time I need to carry a jacket with me. MUJ has good sports faculties, with a big basketball court and football ground.
 

Campus Rating
The campus experience is what I love the most about my college. It’s not just the crowd which is fun but also the fests that our college puts up. The fest 'Oneiros' happens every year, it is something you don’t want to miss. Huge celebrities like Sidharth Malhotra and Jubin Nautiyal have come to our campus for the fest. There are of lot of club activities and hackathons during the fest season, it’s a blast!

    I am a 2nd year student in B.Tech (Biotechnology). Life had been pretty good for me until now. I have had fun and faced hardships as well in my career. I think every student at least once in their life should live in a hostel. I chose this institute because it was near to my hometown and since I was a NEET aspirant before this, and most colleges did not have any B.Tech degree for biology students.... Read Full Review
