Pallavi Engineering College placement cell is average

My college is an average college. I choose this college because I was more interested in getting a Computer Science degree and in EAMCET counseling I got this college for the course I want. If you have some financial issues and you are not getting a college in your desired course only then choose this college. Compared to other colleges it is very affordable.

In 1st year for all branches they'll teach basic topics Math, Physics, Science, English and C Programming. After that main core subjects will be taught. For getting into this you need to write EAMCET exam and apply for counseling and then apply for the college. My motive in selecting this course is my keen interest towards computer and its structure, both hardware & software. I took this branch feeling that I will get to know about different technologies.

Faculty is also average some of the faculty have good knowledge and they also teach well, some of them have less knowledge and their teaching style is not good. So it is mixed. Some did bachelors and some of the teachers have doctorate degree. But college is still following old school model teaching they have still not updated with the new style of teaching.

Our college has placement cell but it is not active. Our college has 65 % placement. Highest is 7 LPA, lowest is 1.8 LPA and average is 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Byju’s, Accenture, etc comes to our college and startups like LTmind tree, Turing AI, NIIT, and more visit the college for hiring students.

Hostel facilities have improved now. Hostels are outside the college.

Infrastructure is average. There are labs, library, sports equipment, Auditorium, etc. classes are not well maintained. The college has a small auditorium. A library is also present in the college.

Overall my campus life is average. There are different clubs like technical, cultural, sports, and entrepreneurship. Fests are connected but not so frequently. Fests like Tech fest, annual day, farewell, fresher’s party, sports day, and more are celebrated here. Festivals like Bathukamma, Sankranti, Dashera, etc are also celebrated here. National occasions are also celebrated in the college. Guest lectures are also frequently conducted on both technical and non technical aspects. Overall the campus life is average.
