Overall Rating
I choose this Coochbehar Government Engineering College because this is government college and the tuition fee is 6000 per semester and it has 8 semester and total fees was 48000. Along with this you have to pay 1200 rupees for examination fees and you have to pay other extra curriculum fee which is almost 500 rupees.
 

Academics Rating
For enrolling in B.Tech in Coochbehar Government Engineering College you have to pass West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. After passing the joint entrance examination you have to go through the counseling process. The cutoff of Coochbehar Government Engineering College varies year to year. After college sanction from online counseling you have to attend offline document verification.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of Coochbehar Government Engineering College are well experienced and well trained. Most of them have Ph.D and other advanced degrees from reputed institute. The faculties are of friendly nature and help students in every way they can. Each department of Coochbehar Government Engineering College has their own mentor who manages the whole department.
 

Placement Rating
The placement rate of this college is not good as maximum 20 students from 250 students got their placements.
 

Hostel Rating
We have 4 hostels in which 3 are for boys and 1 is for girls. Unfortunately only 1 hostel of the boys is in currently operating and other 2 are closed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college consist two buildings that are administration building and academic building. It has 2 computer laboratory and other labs are also present in the campus. The infrastructure of this college is mind blowing its library consists more than 1000 books. The college is spread in almost 8 acres. The faculties of the college are helping in nature.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is huge and best thing is that it is situated beside the river Torsa. It has its own football, cricket, badminton, and volleyball playground for students. CGEC has ragging free campus. The campus is mainly undertaken by the seniors. The seniors and juniors live in a friendly manner.

    This review contains all the details about the academic, technical, placements, sports, mess, foods, etc. The teachers in our college are quite experienced and have Ph.D in their respective courses.     My overall experience for this college is not good. I took admission in this college, because I did not know the internal system. I just saw the review and that was positive, so I took the admission, but that was wrong. Yes, one thing is good that from the college side you would not get so much pressure, so you will able to do your stuffs or your works more smoothly.
