Hansraj College has Placement cell society

Hansraj College, which is A++ Grade College, is one of the top colleges in the North campus. The ambience and facilities is top notch. I have chosen this college because of its ranking and also because it's a North campus college. Students studying there are all well educated having 12th aggregate percentage above 90. My course is B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science and it is considered that Computer Science is best taught in Hansraj only. I would recommend other students to take admission in Hansraj College since its one of the best college.

My course is private that's why its cost is around 51000 per year. It's one of the toughest courses amongst all the other courses that Hansraj College offers. To get this course in my college the entry requirements are first of all you should have PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in our 10+2 class. In addition to this you should also have any one language like English or Hindi. You have to clear an entrance exam CUET with good marks to get into B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science, at least 650+ out of 800. All Commerce students can also apply for this but they should have Mathematics as one of the subjects. I'm more into Computer and coding that' why I selected this course. And I got my first preference.

Teachers at Hansraj College are highly educated and experienced ones. All the professors and few assistant professors hold a Ph.D degree in their respective teaching areas. To make teaching process more interactive they not only use the prescribed books given in the curriculum but they make their own teaching slides so that students can understand much better. They use real life examples to make the students understand everything.

Being in computer science department I obviously sit for the placements. Hansraj College has a particular placement cell society which brings the students and the well known companies together in hiring process. It's a successful society, every year it brings big giant companies like DeShaw, EY India, Fractal, Deloitte Consulting, and many more. Every year their average placement increases. Last year the average placement package was of 8.2 LPA and highest went to 23 LPA which was taken by a Computer Science student. The placement scenario is actually good at Hansraj College.

Yes, Hansraj College have both girls and boys hostels. Girls hostel was recently build last year. The girl’s hostel is little bit expensive as compared to the boy’s hostel and in addition to that it is with limited seats. One room is shared by 5 girls making it difficult for staying and adjusting. Though the boy’s hostel is comparatively good and spacious.

Though the Hansraj College is not that big and spacious but it accommodates each and every facility that a Grade College should have. It has three wings namely A, B and C, a large ground for sports and for students of NCC (National Cadet Corps). It has a big administrative block where the official works is carried out. Toilets are in each block and on each floor which is always clean and tidy. It has specific rooms for government organization such as NCC and National Service Scheme (NSS). There are two small food areas and one big canteen which provide delicious food at affordable prices.

Campus life at Hansraj College is amazing. Hansraj conducts its annual fest named Confluence and NCC Hansraj conducts its annual fest named Valour. Both the fest are organised at a large scale, people coming from different DU colleges. The crowd of Hansraj is well educated as well as more talented. Apart from that Hansraj yearly conduct its Sport competition which is inter departmental named Khelo Hansraj. The overall life of a student in Hansraj College is marvelous, it's helpful in holistic development of the students and it enhances his personality.
