Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) not only focuses on the academicals improvement of the students but also on the holistic development of each of its students. Teachers are very friendly, syllabus is completed within time for every subject and doubt clearing sessions are held after that, assignments and home tasks are given to ensure that students revise the chapters well. Moreover, different clubs exist in the college, such as Drama club, Sports club and many others, which helps the students to nurture their hobbies and excel in them as well. Infrastructure is great with play grounds, indoor sports room, gym room, smart classrooms, and more. Fests and functions are often held at occasions where students perform and artists are also invited to perform in the college. To enroll in Guru Nanak Institute of Technology with a B.Tech course, a minimum rank of around 20k-30k is needed in the WBJEE, better the rank, and better the course you get. The B.Tech program offers specialized courses like CSE, IT, ECE, ECS, and FT. If you aim to be a good and recognised engineer then you should apply in this course, because emphasis is made on how much the students are learning about the course and inspiring us to innovate something on our own, making us better engineers in the end.

There is an excellent group of teachers who help the students whenever they need. Every teacher puts their effort to make sure that each and every student understands the root concepts of a subject and they entertain every question asked by the students. Teachers try their best to be available to the students not only in the college but also through official WhatsApp groups ensuring to clear every doubt of the students regarding any aspect whether be it academic or non academic. Most of the teachers have teaching experience of more than about a decade and even the new teachers lack no effort to make the students understand a topic. Some teachers have a Masters degree, while some have a Ph.D. It's super interesting to learn under such a supportive and excellent faculty.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology has its separate and specific Placement Cell which deals with contacting various companies and also helps the students to get internships from companies as well. Many renowned companies visit GNIT and have recruited students from here.

The campus has its own hostel, separate for boys and girls. Two students need to share a room together in the hostel. Special care is taken towards sanitation and safety of the students. The college canteen is where the students have their daily meals. Each hostel has its own playing area giving the students recreational facilities in the hostel life.

GNIT has a huge campus, having separate blocks and even floors for each specialized courses. The main building has four floors with classrooms and lab rooms for each course, and with the GYM and Common Wealth Room in the ground floor. Moreover, a separate cafeteria is available for the students except for the college canteen and parking is also available for students who bring their own vehicles. Proper uniform is provided to every student. The campus is well decorated and maintained.

The college life at GNIT is stargazing because of the fests and celebrations in the college with students of the college performing in those events and other renowned artists who are invited to perform in our college. Annual sports events are held where inter college competitions take place. Moreover the wide section of different clubs in our college portrays the versatility and innovative nature of the students.
