IIT Delhi – A Dream College

Overall Rating
The college is indeed good. You get a chance to have a great peer group and good connections. I chose this college for opening a start-up and have good knowledgeable seniors who can guide people well in their specific niches. People have a chance of sitting in good companies which very few IITs can offer.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are a bit challenging for first year, after that most people get used to the academic load and learn to manage the academics. Study regularly and consistently like JEE is the key to scoring good grades in college. I recommend to also solving the PYQs as many of them are asked with the same concepts.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty has a spectrum of professors. Some are good some are bad. Some of them are willing to give you research internships to assist with them. Their styles of teachings aren't that good and very few can teach well so you should be independent enough to learn these contents somewhere else.
 

Placement Rating
IIT Delhi placements are good. If you work hard you can easily earn above 30+ LPA and if you're consistent from the first year itself you can earn up to crore as well. Lot of big companies visits our college. We do have a placement cell at our college and it helps in aiding the placement and internship process.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is good. Ragging is strictly not tolerable. The food quality is good. You get three meals a day. There are recreational activities like pool, singing, and dance. Most hostels have their own gym.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure includes a lot of labs which many other colleges won’t have. It's a good college for research and besides labs the equipment in there are really expensive. Academics blocks are well maintained and the buildings as well. The lecture hall where most of the classes are held is air conditioned and it generates its own electricity.
 

Campus Rating
Overall IIT Delhi campus life is a 9/10. There is everything you need within the campus. Rendezvous is the cultural fest which is held every year and there is a board for both recreational activities as well as for technical clubs like Robotics, Aeromodelling, Coding and Devalue. Recently clubs on machine learning and block chains have also been formed.

    IIT Delhi is one of the premier engineering colleges in India. It stood second in the NIRF Rankings 2024 and 150 in the QS Global ranking index.     My overall college experience is outstanding here we have great teaching staff. My JEE Advanced made me to choose this college this college. It is everyone's dream college but less than 1% of total candidates can make up here, it is hardwork of 2 or 3 years for every student. So I recommend everyone to join this college....     It's great to be in IIT Delhi. I chose IIT Delhi because of its entrepreneurship culture and people here are cool. The faculty is very nice and there are tutorials also held alongside lecture classes to help students there are various cultural as well as technical clubs.
