Overall review on Presidency University

Overall Rating
Particularly Presidency University Bangalore is chosen by the students who have scored really less in their KCET exam or need a particular branch as this university has got lot of opportunities in it. Over all experience is okay. Everything depends upon networking and skills at last. If a person has enough confidence of working and self relying on skill development this university can be chosen.
 

Academics Rating
There are various courses. Particularly in Computer Science lot of sub branches like Data Science, Big Data, Cyber Security, and many more are present which helps the students to precisely explore each domain. The entry requirements are KCET and COMEDK exam. If you want to explore the specific field Computer Science then this is good to go.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are friendly and supportive as well. But it also depends upon students networking and interacting skills. Students can collect the road maps and guidance for working on their skills. Students need to understand to network properly and gain maximum from the professors. Certification courses are also provided by the college.
 

Placement Rating
Yes there is a placement cell. It does help students to get placements and take the best out of it depending upon their skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Good hostel facility is provided by the university. Rooms are spacious and food is okay. Infrastructure is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is actually good. Academics blocks are neat and clean. The campus is bit overcrowded. There are libraries where students get quality books. Other facilities include International affairs which really support students in getting international internships and offer a lot of opportunities as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. But Presidency University Bangalore is in the outskirts of city which makes travelling an issue. There are restrictions on dressing of the students. Regular checking takes place before entering college. Overall it is very strict. Few clubs are active here and fests are organised in a very grand manner.

    It's been four months I'm in Presidency university. I'm pursuing BCA with Data Science as specialization from here. I chose this university mainly because of the placements. There are 7 schools. School of Law, Design, Engineering, Management, Commerce and Information Science. The first day I came here, I felt so good that I chose a good university as it really gave a positive energy.     My experience with the university has been very good so far, as the university is spread over around 65 acres, offers various courses, and has eight schools. It has courses ranging from Engineering, Law, Design, Media, etc. I chose this college to pursue my studies, as it provides opportunity to choose various courses and being a law student, the university offers three courses under law itself.     I chose this college because it was easy for me to commute. I got in through KCET. The admission process was pretty smooth there were no complications. My experience till now has been good. The infrastructure is good. Teaching is also okay. If anybody is planning to join through management seat I would suggest you to look for better options.... Read Full Review
