The overall experience is just okay. Here you get sufficient time to focus on your skills or extracurricular activities. I chose this university because of the availability of seats in B.Tech CSE and it offers B.Tech at very affordable fees for self-financing students as compared to other colleges and universities. The most important thing is that it is a state university so it is always beneficial for students.

In this university you can easily get admission in B.Tech Computer Science Engineering as there are sufficient seats available. There are some specialization branches like CSE with Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, etc. Eligibility for the course is that you must score above 60% in 12th standard. You can find the application form on the official site of KMCLU. The fee is 300 for the general category and the application date starts from June. For admission, you have to take a simple exam which is conducted by the university and it is easy to pass that exam because the questions asked in that exam are the basics of the 12th and there are no group discussions or interviews for the admission process.

Faculty members are well educated and most of them are Ph.D holders. They are friendly and they always try to give their 100% and clear everyone's doubt, not all but some of the faculty members are definitely very friendly and humble to students and they always try to teach from basics, so that everyone can understand easily. They give personal attention to weak students. Again I'm saying not all only some of them have these characteristics.

Yes, we have a placement cell at our university but according to me, it is not that useful because of the placement ratio and the packages companies offer to students. Companies like Pie Infocomm, Renault Nissan, Uptoskills, Byju’s, Padhloindia, etc. have visited the campus. And only 2 - 12 students got selected out of 120+ and the package most companies offer starts from 2 LPA, and the highest is approx. 6 - 9 LPA.

In each hostel room, you get 2 beds, 1 Almirah, 2 study tables, chairs, and a ceiling fan, and each room have double occupancy. According to me, the mess food quality is not good. Only in the starting few months of the new allotment they make normal food. The yearly hostel fee is approx. 12650 and the monthly mess fee is approx. 2500.

There are sufficient amounts of books available in the library and also you can access the university's e-library. In the classroom, you get a green board and a projector, and an AC classroom which is only allowed to the first year, and from 2nd year you get a simple room with ceiling fans. If you are interested in cricket or volleyball you can join the university team. There is also a basketball court where you can play. There is also a gym in the university.

To my knowledge, there is no fest or event organized by the university itself but this year a company named Bioverse Technologies conducted an international conference at our university and they also organized a concert in which Karwaan Band performed.
