IIIT Bhopal - Overall it’s a good college

Overall Rating
IIIT Bhopal is a good college, but it might not meet all your expectations as it doesn’t have its own campus. Here college life is good. The campus is expected to be ready in few years, promising better infrastructure and improved overall experience. I chose this college because the placement opportunities here are good. So you can consider this college.
 

Academics Rating
IIIT Bhopal provides 4 year B.Tech degrees in Computer Science (CSE), Information Technology (IT), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). They've recently introduced a new M.Tech program. This institute prioritizes practical learning and research, guided by skilled teachers and modern facilities, preparing students well for careers in technology and engineering.
 

Faculty Rating
Many of the professors have strong academic backgrounds. Generally all teachers have good knowledge of their field but you will find some teachers who don’t know how to deliver knowledge to students. On the positive side, some faculties of MANIT also teach here. After all you will also have to learn things from YouTube and other platforms. So don't reject this college because of faculty, here faculty is good.
 

Placement Rating
Here we have Training and Placement Cell (T&P) who connects the students with reputable companies for the job opportunities. In 2024 most of the students are placed. The highest package on campus is by Flipkart that was 32 LPA. ECE companies like NVIDIA and Qualcomm also hires students from here. So here placement is very good.
 

Hostel Rating
IIIT Bhopal is new, so it doesn't have its own hostel yet. The Hostel is provided only for first year. After that, Student stays in rent apartments or in any private hostels nearby. The college arranges buses for students to travel between college and hostel. Hostel life is good here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
At IIIT Bhopal, we use the MANIT infrastructure of 650 acres. MANIT has beautiful campus with greenery all over. We have access to their buildings, labs, sports complex, library and other facilities. And after few years IIIT Bhopal will have its own campus. This will further enhance our educational experience.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. The plus point is that we can enjoy the IIIT event and MANIT events as well. IIIT Bhopal hosts a variety of exciting events every year Like “Aarambh” for freshers. HackWithGdseIIITB, this is one week-long event and all other events here make the college life better.

    Overall it's an above average college. After all, you get this college by clearing the tough JEE exam so it can't be bad. It's a great college, despite the fact it doesn't have its own campus and runs inside the MANIT Bhopal campus. In few years it will have its own campus, then it will become an even better college.... As it currently in MANIT Bhopal, students get benefits like fests, sports activities, exhibitions, etc. Placements of this college are better than other IIITs.     The college experience is overall good. Although we don't have a permanent campus still, we have a campus at NIT Bhopal where we can access the requirements like lab, sports complex, canteens etc. And overall, we have a rich culture here where we can grow and foster our personality and explore different domains....     In this college infrastructure is not much good but campus area is large IIIT Bhopal doesn't have their campus, yet it is running inside the NIT Bhopal. In this college sports facilities are not too much good but for academics I think this college is good as compared to other private colleges. Campus is also made in next 2 years.... Read Full Review
