I enrolled for B.Tech degree in IEM, salt lake campus in the year 2022. I gave WBJEE and according to my rank I got CSE (IoT) department. The main reason for choosing this college was its promising placement records and others should join for the very same reason. Being a student of IEM (B.Tech) has got its benefits and flaws both. IEM is arguably the best private college in West Bengal with a steady placement percentage, good faculty, and international education exposure. My experience in IEM till date is good, though the faculties can be a little rough sometimes, most of them are genuine are looking out for you. I'm Shubhraneel Chakraborty, a pre-final year student at the Institute of Engineering and Management, Salt Lake, Kolkata. My overall experience in my 3 years at this college has been somewhat of a mixed bag. I wouldn't say that it has been a bad college life for me, but it’s no different than being in a school for me.
