My College Review

Overall Rating
The reason I chose the Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research is because it is an NAAC A grade institution. It is one of the top colleges of the Indraprastha University. Students who didn't get admission in the Delhi University can apply for this college by clearing the exam IPU CET. This college is situated in Delhi itself in Rohini. It usually takes about 1 hour from my home.
 

Academics Rating
My course in this college was B.Com (Hons.). You can also choose BBA, from what I have heard they are starting BCA for the upcoming batch of students from 2024. The entry requirements are simple; you just have to get selected through the counselling process after clearing the exam. My motive for enrolling in this program was to expand the opportunities and future programs I can choose after graduation like MA Economics and M.Com.
 

Faculty Rating
One thing I love about this college is that the faculties are really supportive and easy to approach to. Most of the teachers provide you with notes for each unit that they have made by themselves for you to understand the topic better. All the staffs are post graduates in their respective subjects and some of them even have Ph.Ds.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell present here. But the placement rate is not really good, it is below 10%.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel facility available in this college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college is really small as most of the colleges affiliated with IPU are, but the campus is good and well maintained by the staffs. This college uses major technologies like projectors and smart classes. Every class is equipped with good quality benches and has at least 2 air conditioners in every classroom.
 

Campus Rating
There is not really a campus life in this college. The campus is too small for activities like sports and fests. But this college does conduct its annual fest, “Anugoonj” which is organized by IPU. Famous celebrities and singers are invited; it is really fun to be a part of. This college also has a Rotaract club. They are working towards the betterment of the society by doing things like educating and feeding the underprivileged kids.

    The Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research is one the best colleges in GGSIPU that provides students with an excellent education. The environment is very calm and quiet, making it ideal for studying. The professors are very hard working.
