LSR is one of the prestigious College of Delhi University. It offers a wide range of courses from Humanities to Commerce and Science. The societies are very active and give you a lot of exposure. It helps you to explore your interests and allows you to put your best foot forward. The professors are really good and supportive. They are well versed with their subjects and makes classes interesting for students. One can find their best selves in this college and can push their limits to be the polished versions.

Studying English honors is a great experience at Lady Shri Ram College. I was highly interested in literature field hence I chose this course. Their insightful perspectives give us a new angle to view things. To opt for this course one is required to appear for CUET and on the basis of cut off one can get selected in this. This course teaches about the different branches of literature and polishes our critical thinking and ability to research thoroughly on a topic. If a student is interested in reading novels of different eras then I would highly recommend to get enrolled in it. Assessment methods are fair and transparent usually consisting of exams, essays, presentations and some other projects. Moreover the atmosphere at LSR is also conducive to learn and grow.

The faculty at Lady Shri Ram College is highly esteemed and plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience. They are exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. They are always willing to engage with students outside of class and are very approachable. They provide a holistic view to students and are not just focused on delivering the bookish content. They have also published a variety of things and have conducted researches that contribute in the field.

The placement cell at LSR is really supportive and active. They provide you with lots of internships to build a strong resume. Previous year LSR grabbed the highest package. The cell conducts timely surveys to know the preferences of students and the sector in which they are interested. However it is true that a good placement is a tough nut to crack but if one strives hard it's not impossible.

Hostel is provided to the first year students. It is allocated on the basis of merit and distance. The mess is great. I was in the hostel in my first year but due to the problems related to infrastructure we had to vacate it. So not sure if the college is providing hostel to the students or not. But if it is then definitely hostel is the best choice for accommodation. They provide night outs, best meals and tons of memories. Parties are also held occasionally and the best part about hostel is that it is in campus only so no travelling issues. The accommodation charges are also relatively cheaper than the pgs and flats.

The infrastructure of LSR is average. The campus is beautiful but buildings of the college have some issues. There are two buildings old one and new one. New one is well constructed but old building needs some repairing. The library of college is nice. It has all the required books and is great place to study. Students usually stay back to study there as it remains opened till 7 pm. Cafe also provides a great variety of food that also at reasonable rate and the food is satisfactory. There is a lawn which adds to the beauty of college. Many events are held at conference rooms which are well built but overall infrastructure of the college can get better.

Campus life of the college is vibrant. The true essence of it can be lived by participating in the events held by the college. Flashmobs is one such event which always brings spark to the campus. Many departments have their own fests and games in which everyone is allowed to participate. They are very fun and engaging. Sometimes it is very happening and other times it is very peaceful and serene. This is the beauty of the campus life of LSR. One get to see variety of activities happening at the same time it can be dance members practicing their moves or the dramatics polishing their vocals. Overall the campus life of LSR is pretty good.
