Honest College Review of Amity University, Lucknow

Overall Rating
Amity University, Lucknow was established in the year 2004; offering diverse undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. It is a nice campus with all the basic amenities that students require. Admission is based on the scores of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Although, the infrastructure is not up to the mark but the library is the best part of it.
 

Academics Rating
This university offers BA LLB (Hons.), a five years integrated program which is a combination of Law and Humanities. One can enroll in this after completing 12th standard. This course provides a blend of theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The university has designed the course in a very practical manner that allows students to equally focus on extracurricular activities.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at Amity University, Lucknow is very experienced, having strong academic backgrounds and industrial expertise. Most of the faculty members are very supportive, helpful and could be easily approached. In this campus experts from the industry come to deliver guest lectures from time to time. The teaching style of each faculty is different from that of another, so one might face a little problem there.
 

Placement Rating
This university has its own placement cell which could be improved. Although reputed companies do come and provide placements, but the ratio is low.
 

Hostel Rating
This university has its own hostel; separate for both boys and girls which are inside the campus only. The rooms are to be shared with other students; you don't have an option of attaining single rooms. The hostel life at Amity University, Lucknow is vibrant with various cultural, sports and recreational activities being organized time to time. The hostel rules are very strict and the mess food compared to other hostels is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different academic blocks for every field such as Academic block (AB) 1 for Law, etc. The campus has sports and medical facilities. The best part is the library, which is opened from 9 a.m. till 8 p.m. and has almost every book available. The overall infrastructure is good but needs renovation. A canteen is also there, but needs to be improved.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really happening. There are different clubs and sports which are actively working; one can become a part of them. The university organizes different fests at intervals but the most awaited is the 3 day fest, Amiphoria. Apart from this various moot courts and sports tournaments are held.

    It was a great moment joining this college after 12th, as I was so excited to go to college and yes it's really going great. The campus is huge, in campus boys and girls’ hostels, in campus mess, football, basketball, and many other courts to play indoor and outdoor games with friends.     If you are not able to get a government college then you can choose this college. I chose this college because this college provides a lot of opportunities to its students and the overall growth of student is also very good in this college. In our college mostly the students are from UP only so you will not face any language barrier.... Read Full Review

    Amity University Lucknow is awesome, I enjoyed my college life so much, and this college provided me a lot of opportunities to learn and grow as well as a very good path to my career besides this the atmosphere of the campus is so pleasant, college has the best faculty, best library, best sports ground, cafeteria are too good, the library is best in college but the main reason to chose this college is its placement, it has the best placement record....
