Overall Rating
I really liked Prafulla Chandra College because my relatives also studied in it and they got great placement. The teaching style and campus facilities are good. The accessibility of transport is good with train, bus, and metro connecting most parts of the city and makes it easier.
 

Academics Rating
All the Honours courses are provided in this college with the Masters degree. The entry requirements are 65% in board exams and 55% in the subject. You should definitely enroll in this college if you live in southern Kolkata. It is one of the top colleges in Kolkata.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are very interactive and also teach in a very good way making sure that everyone understands the topic. They also provide online classes and doubt clearing sessions. They are easily available to resolve our doubts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell and it helps a lot. Prafulla Chandra College has a good placement record. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. come in our college.
 

Hostel Rating
No.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks are all up to the mark. The structure is very accessible. There is one single building with many classrooms. Extra classes and other co-curricular activities are conducted in other classrooms. Various clubs, canteen, library, sports ground, auditorium, stationary shop, etc. are present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is very happening in Prafulla Chandra College. It is in the heart of South Kolkata and the fests arranged by the college. All the facilities are very good. Various seminars are held by the college which not only is bounded with the subject, but also with other general knowledge subjects. Engagement activities like inter college sports and indoor activities are also conducted.

    Overall Rating
    I would personally prefer this because being a government college, they have lesser fees, graduation will be completed in 30k, and it's also an evening college, so you can work as well as balance your studies, I am pursuing English honors and I would say the faculty is very good, they take proper offline and online classes whichever is required, the college ambience is also good.     It is a very good college with great infrastructure and the timings are great as this is an evening college. Moreover, the faculties are good as well and very supportive when the students are struggling in their studies.
