I am studying in the RNS Institute of Technology and am doing B.E. in Information Science and Engineering. It is a really good course to opt in today’s competitive world for jobs in the IT sector. The college has got all the facilities a student would want in a college. It has spacious classrooms, fully equipped labs and a well furnished library. It has a really good atmosphere to study and grow in life. I would want other students to also choose this college as it maintains a steady growth every year in terms of jobs and packages offered to the students.

I am studying B.E. in Information Science and Engineering. It is a vast course with many skills to be acquired during the course in order to match the industry standards required to get a job in top companies. The eligibility criterion to join this course is that one needs to write the KCET exam and score a rank within 10k. This will get you a seat in the RNS Institute of Technology under this course. The main motive behind choosing Information Science and Engineering is that it is an industry which is growing at a great pace and has a large scope in the future as well.

The faculty in this college is really good. Most of the lecturers in our college are Ph.D. holders. They are very knowledgeable and encourage the students to acquire skills rather than just learn concepts. They teach in depth about each topic and also emphasizes on understanding the concepts very well for better implementation.

We have a training and placement cell in our college. It maintains a master database which holds the details of all the students studying in the college. They use their network to bring in companies for recruiting students for various jobs in the company.

We have a separate building for all the courses in this campus. We have an IT block for the CSE and ISE departments and separate buildings for other departments as well. We have a lush green campus, providing a good atmosphere to study and grow in life. We have a fully equipped library where one can get the updated version of books required for their course. We have an auditorium with the seating capacity of around 1,000 students at a time. We also have two playgrounds for various games like cricket, football, volleyball and kabaddi. There is a basketball court and badminton court in the college. Hostel facilities are available in the college. A mess is there, which provides food for the hostellers.

The campus life is really good and it is up to the mark. There are teachers who teach the concepts very well and also encourage you to acquire skills rather than just learn concepts. They are ready to teach the same topic once again, if one doesn’t understand the topic well. We have an inter-department fests called “Pantheon” and “Parichay” that happens every two years successively. There are also various clubs like the dance club, music club and acting club in the college.
