My Views on Amity University

Overall Rating
Overall this institute is a good place for interior design, as the faculty is experienced and the infrastructure is fine. The fees according to a private interior design college are pretty good. There are events and many clubs that people can join in. Overall, as a student Amity is a good option.
 

Academics Rating
The BID course here doesn’t have many specific requirements. However, a student has to have a minimum of 75% marks in 12th standard for admission to the course. Students from all streams such as Science or Commerce can join the course. However, a basic knowledge of art and drawing is required.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty has some experienced people in the field of interior design who have also worked for at least 5 years as designers before joining as teachers. The professors are typically strict with deadlines and submissions for the student to pass the semester which also helps in getting discipline in schedule.
 

Placement Rating
The college has a placement cell which provides opportunities by inviting companies and firms to the college for eligible students for internship and placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a separate hostel for boys and girls with the option of AC and Non AC. It is twin sharing rooms and 3 sharing rooms typically in a dorm with attached toilet and bathroom. The hostel overall is a place within the campus for the students to live. It is a fairly good hostel with safety considerations.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Amity Mumbai campus has an overall of about 17 departments, distributed within the area in Panvel. There are also 2 buildings for hostel, being for boys and girls separately. Overall the campus is entirely air conditioned, with a huge auditorium, a seminar hall and amenities like pottery room in the ASAP department.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is vast, and a fest known as Aminova is conducted each year. This fest is for the entire college. Fests and activities happen within the departments as well, such as Sanrachna in the ASAP. It is fun and entertaining and students can participate in these as part of their co-curricular activities.

They have the best experienced faculties, best infrastructure and the basic required amenities .it's been 2 years in the University and I am definitely satisfied with the course and basically everything.   • Amity University Mumbai campus is very big and happening

    The fees structure of Amity University Mumbai is really good compared to other colleges in Mumbai. It can be an easy travel for students because the college provides bus services from Panvel station to Amity. The campus is very big and has 4 canteens. It also provides hostel in the campus. Events are held every year and with a big bang. You can participate in these events, games, cultural programs, etc. and showcase your talents. College placement is also available.... Read Full Review

  • Amity University Mumbai provides degree in interior design

    I wanted to get enrolled in interior design college which gives a degree of the same, and colleges in Mumbai are less when it comes to 4 year design degree programs there are colleges for diploma programs. So I enrolled in Amity university, Mumbai as it provides major degree with a minor degree which we can choose at the time of admission. They also teach a foreign language which enhances the overall learning experience.... Read Full Review

    I am doing Animation and VFX degree from this university. Fee of my university is low, compared to other universities. The campus of Amity University is really great.   • Amity University Mumbai placement cell is very attentive

    It was good 4 year learning experience. The college has a very good campus. I made good friends. There are 2 canteens and other food stores on the campus. Have a store where we can have all needed things. Doctors and ambulance facilities are available in the campus 24x7. Campus is quite far away from transportation route.... Read Full Review
