My Experience in the college

Overall Rating
It was a pretty good experience in college in 1st year. I don't want a college far away from my home and I thought that College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat is the best choice for me. In CEMK, we can play so many sports which I liked. The college campus is pretty big and beautiful, It is covered with trees.
 

Academics Rating
Our College is a Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal Affiliated college, so all semester exams are taken by the University, which I think is a good thing for placements. There is just one requirement for getting admission in the college that you have to pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the 12th boards.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of our college are good and friendly. We can connect with them anytime by call. They have enough knowledge to teach us. Some of the faculties are graduated or post graduated from very well known colleges like IITs, NITs, etc. The technical assistants of the labs are also so good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostels in our College. The rooms are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four academic blocks, one administrative block and a separate mechanical workshop. There is a fest ground with a stage. There is a well maintained Garden in the middle of the four academic blocks. There is a big ground to play cricket, football, volleyball court, basketball court, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good in the college. The whole campus is big. It has many things to do like outdoor games, indoor games, music, dance and so on. There are two types of fests in our college, one is technical fest named Resonance and the other one is cultural fest named Spandan.

    Overall, the college life is good. You have to study well if you want to get good marks in semester exam. But, I will suggest you to take admission in other colleges like IEM, Techno India university, etc. if you want to study Computer Science Engineering branch as these colleges provides you much better infrastructure and placement accuracy....     I choose this college as almost 90% of the students this program have got placements. The highest package goes from 13 LPA to 14 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. A lot of students do get internships from our college. I don't remember the exact percentage, but students do get into internships from our college.... Read Full Review

    It is a private college under WBPDCL. As my rank is high so I got It. Now this college placement is also poor. If you get other college you can go there. I am not able to carry more than 3.6 lakh so I came here.... Read Full Review

    First of all I came to this college through WBJEE (WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) rank that was 25411. The college is not so far from my home. So I choose this college to do my engineering and I had heard good reviews from my relative who had passed out from this college information technology department.
