Life in IMS Unison University

Overall Rating
It has been two years in IMS Unison University. It was a nice experience overall. I chose this particular university because of the BBA program it is offering. It offers a great opportunity to students by giving them options for the field they are interested in. They are offering dual specialisation in the third year of the BBA program. I think it is a great opportunity to get exposure and understand about the field they are interested in.
 

Academics Rating
Well talking about the course it is really a good one for those who want to do MBA after graduation or are looking forward to it. As this course offers wide variety of subjects that are similar to that of the subjects in MBA. Eligibility criterion for enrolling in this is scoring minimum of 50% in class 12th. Well I have scored well in class 12th, so they offered scholarship to me of around 75%.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at IMS Unison University is something you will really love. All the faculty members are PhD holders and are professionals in their field. All of them are really kind and even provide study material and share their PPT's with you. They also clear all the doubts of students. I really think they are so humble. They will treat you with so much of politeness.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our college. We also have our placement cell coordinator and student representatives as well. The placement cell really helps the students to get placed in good companies; they regularly send updates on the companies that are visiting our college and a link to apply as well.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a residential facility in the institute. Hostel life is a really important thing for a student. IMS really offers a great hostel life. We are provided with all the basic amenities like gym, utility shop, basketball court, etc. The food quality and taste is so good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is quite boring but the nature all around gets it covered. There are a lot of trees in the campus. We have 6 separate blocks for different courses. We have a big parking facility. There are shops inside the campus such as Amul, Nescafe, etc. We even have a food truck in the campus, which offers great food. Apart from this we have a cafeteria in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at IMS Unison University is not so good; there are not so much events in the university. But then also, there are dhol nights and other events in the university. There is a fest called Lamhe, which is the best of all. Celebrity night and so many games take place in the fest.

  • Good for studies; average for placements - IMS Unison University

    Overall, the IMS Unison University is good if you are looking for good studies but don't expect much for placements. The Registration process is pretty much simple followed by an Application form. Be ready with the fees for the 1st semester and 1-year hostel (in case you avail of this facility) as this is the upfront payment that needs to be made on the first day of admission itself.   • Best college for business administration in Uttarakhand state

    The city of Dehradun is very big and this city contains so many colleges. Generally, Dehradun is a spot for private colleges only. Do you know why there are so many private colleges in Dehradun and not in any other city in Uttarakhand? It is because private colleges promise their students great packages.   • IMS Unison University has got both a good fame and a good name

    IMS Unison University was quite far from my home but I kind of made up my mind to study here as I heard a lot of good things about the college. BBA was my preferred bet as after opting commerce in higher studies there aren’t much options. The university has a great infrastructure, a great management that look after its students extremely well. There’s no ragging or things where juniors have to obey senior’s orders.   • IMS Unison is different from various private universities of the city

    IMS Unison is without a doubt an excellent university but UPES Dehradun to me is the best as it’s an established house and has incredible placements and faculties. IMS Unison University lacked the placement part but definitely had the best set of faculties. One of the biggest pluses was that along with core BBA, it also offered many certification courses and specialisation if one wanted.
