Mata Sundri College for Women is a part of the central cluster of Delhi University. Established in 1967, it is one of the oldest colleges under Delhi University. It is a great college for students who are seeking holistic development. It is one of the best colleges for psychology as well as social science students.

Mata Sundri College for Women is especially known for its academic excellence. The college provides various courses, across UG and PG, including Honours, BA, B.Com, B.Sc, etc. This college offers a variety of subject combinations as well. The college fosters an effective learning environment for students, even for competitive exams such as MBA, UPSC, etc. by incorporating cells and clubs to help the students with their preparation.

The faculty is definitely an experienced and knowledgeable one. The blend of the teachers from different colleges with experience and new teachers with the knowledge of the current curriculum is truly something that results in the overall fulfillment of academic as well as holistic development. The faculty goes above and beyond to help students apart from classes if they face any difficulty with the syllabus or even their own doubts from their individual preparation. The faculty is involved with the societies and clubs, so the students get one-on-one advice and attention from these experienced individuals as well.

Prayas: The Placement and Internship Cell of Mata Sundri College has provided students with wonderful opportunities during and after their graduation. They organised various workshops and placement fairs where the companies attending can recruit or take interviews of the students and proceed further into the recruitment process. Anyone interested in the society can join it and start attending these events for clarity as well as an additional helping hand towards their goals.

The infrastructure of Mata Sundri College for Women is certainly better than those of other colleges in Delhi University. It is safe to say that it's even better than some of the colleges of North and South Campuses. The chairs and tables are well maintained, the washrooms are always clean and the library is the best part for many students as it is equipped with all the course books as well as other books that the students might need. The library allows the students to even borrow books and provides a peaceful environment for studying. The building overall is great, with a spacious auditorium, conference rooms and computer labs.

The campus life at this college might seem like a drawback as it's unlike that of the North and South Campus colleges. The campus premises itself aren't very vast and our ground is outside the college building, prohibiting the presence of students unless there's an event happening. However, there is an advantage to being a student of this college if you consider the location of it, Central Delhi. You can almost consider Connaught Place, Janpath, etc. a part of the campus life as it's very near to the college, even places in South Delhi (Purple line) are very near to ITO, the nearest station to our college. These places can be considered for hanging out with friends after classes.
