Aligarh Muslim University is a century-old Educational Marvel. The objective for its establishment was quality education for that section of students who cannot afford it. The Faculty of Law, AMU is very well serving its purpose. It provides the best quality legal education to the not-very-privileged section of students. To be able to secure admission to the institute, students have to pass the AMU Law Entrance Test which the Aligarh Muslim University Controller Office conducts. The cut-off of this exam has been increasing day by day due to the University's Reputation and its desirability. This central government-regulated university not only provides quality education but also offers hostel facilities to the outstation students belonging to varied communities.

The College excels in providing academic exposure to its students which is one of the main reasons why a majority of students graduating from this college opt for the Judicial Services Exam and the Civil Services Exam. The college has a good number of alumni in Judicial and Civil Services. The primary focus here is to provide academic excellence to its students and the library of the faculty of law plays a massive role in ensuring the same.

The Professors here are very qualified and ensure the same for their students. They are selected by way of the Selection Committee. The majority of the faculty members are reputed by their name across the nation and some are known outside India as well. Faculty members have gained Ph.D in their respective fields. The faculty also ensures clarity of their subject and approachability to them.

The university has a Placement and Training cell, where they not only provide placement opportunities to students who apply but also provide training to such students during their course of graduation. The Cell conducts various such activities to upgrade the profile of students to help them gain corporate relevant skills. The average salary package students receive through the Cell is 6 LPA to 8 LPA. The bar could go higher as per the student's ability.

The Hostel facilities in AMU are not only cheaper as compared to other government-regulated institutes but also provide better amenities for the students. The university ensures vigilance against wrongful conduct against students in the hostel premises.

The Infrastructure of the faculty of law is "appreciable". The College is fully air-conditioned. Also, There are various RO water coolers for drinking water facilities for the students. The premises are clean and fully protected under the vigilance of various guards and gatekeepers. The premises are fully covered by CCTV Cameras which are being continuously watched from the Dean's Office. The belongings of students are completely safe on the premises as I have witnessed myself multiple times, whether the belongings are precious or ordinary.

The campus life of the University is not as dreamy as you may find in other colleges. Here mostly educational and informative seminars are arranged and conducted not fests and parties. The traditional values can be seen in the university's fresher and farewell parties. The university focuses on the safety of women within its premises. Loud music of any type is not welcomed here. The use of any kind of intoxicant is strictly prohibited and the use of it is severely punished. The seniors of the college are very friendly and always helpful.
