From the very beginning, I started liking this college. The campus life is not that bad like the outsiders say. The faculties, staff and students all of them are good. The classes they are providing are nice. All the tests are conducted on time. I chose this college mainly because of the placements they are offering. The labs and such other facilities available inside the college are good too. The alumni network of this college is great. The companies they bring to this college for placements are of high standards. If you are getting into this college, I can guarantee about your placement if you perform well in your campus life. This college has its advantage of being located near the info park.

The admission is based on the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. It is a computer based test from this year. The test is not that hard like JEE, but not that easy too. If you've managed to study well in your drop year or after your class 12th, you can easily get a good rank in this test. Also make sure you got good marks in class 12th, because the final entrance score considers your class 12th result. You need to get a good rank to get in this college. Usually the cutoff rank for CSE and ECE is high. If you are ready to make minor compromisation to get good placements you should choose this college. The college has its own advantages as it is situated in a good location. The course curriculum here is very relevant to the current needs. It will be updated in 2024 according to the new scheme, so it will become better. In the first year you all will be learning common subjects. You are supposed to choose your core subjects in the second year. You can also get admission through the Lateral entry too.

The faculties in this college are highly qualified. They are well aware of what they are teaching and have very good knowledge about their subject. Their teachings are theoretically and practically relevant. This makes us easy to understand the sessions. The lab hours are also carried out in a good manner. Mostly the lab sessions are taken by the same professors who are teaching the theoretical class. The lab assistants are very supportive and helpful too. The classes are very interactive and are taught mainly in English with a little bit of Malayalam here and there. I am very satisfied with this experience.

The placements in this college are very good. The companies visiting this college offer very good packages to the students. My advice to you guys is study well so you can easily get placed in a good company. The average package of the last placement session was 8.3 LPA. It is very high for a college under KTU. Top companies like Amazon, Nvidia are recruiting students from the college. So you can get the overall idea about placements.

The hostel facility available inside campus is good. It’s situated near the college. It is very neat and well maintained. You can get the campus hostel on the basis of how far your home is and your annual income. The hostellers have a very good unity among them. The hostel is not that expensive. If you don't get the campus hostel, don't worry. There are many private hostels available within 500 meters of the college at very affordable prices.

The campus is situated in the heart of Kochi. The campus consists of a main building and a new block. It is well maintained and clean. Most of the facilities are available within the campus itself. There are a lot of lab facilities available. It even has students managed labs like the Fab lab and the Idea lab to promote enthusiasm about projects in the students. The campus is not that big but that does not affect your campus life. The campus has a football and basketball court. It provides bus facilities made available within 40km radius for the students. All you need is available within 1 km from the campus. The campus is 2 km from Edappally and 3 km from Kakkanad.

The campus life is very good. You have access to a number of clubs, which are managed by the students and staff. The clubs are aiming to encourage extracurricular activities and promote leadership and communication qualities in the student. The scheme like NSS is also available in this college. The arts and tech fest is conducted every year. These are run by the senior students themselves. They ensure the participation of everyone within this college. The fests are well planned and the shows they conduct are very good. There are many other events in this college conducted every 3-4 weeks.
