About Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology: From a Student's Point of View

Overall Rating
My experience at the Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology has been nothing but transformational. From the moment I walked on campus, I was struck by the vibrant atmosphere and sense of community that spread through every corner of this institution. The college fest "EUPHORIA”, gives big opportunities to the students who want to show their skills and talents.
 

Academics Rating
The academic rigor in this college varies. PHCET gives a wide range of B.E. courses in various fields. It is a 4-year undergraduate course and the eligibility criteria is one should have above 45% in 10+2. Also, you can be eligible through the exams like CET and JEE. The tuition fee is around 4-5 lakhs for the whole UG course. It gives one the best teaching and practical knowledge about the course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are not only experts in their fields, but are also deeply committed to the student’s success. They provide personal attention to every individual. They are very understanding and skillful. All the faculty members have their own way of teaching. Some explain topics very fast, while others take time explaining according to the student’s capacity. They will always stand for you whenever needed.
 

Placement Rating
Talking about the placement cell, our college has a great placement rate. Students who are thinking to pursue the B.E. course can go for this college because top notch companies visit our institute for hiring skilled students .Some top recruiting companies are TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have a college hostel. The hostel has a great infrastructure and provides many facilities. Students from out of town don't worry about the hostels, as it has a good canteen and the rooms are perfect for the students. For more details you can visit the college page.
 

Infrastructure Rating
PHCET has one of the biggest campuses in the Navi Mumbai region. There are separate labs, digital classrooms and many more. Our college has its own gym, playground and even basketball court. Those who love sports have great opportunities here because our college gives importance to sports too. The canteen has a great variety of food and meals. Overall, the amenities of this college are great.
 

Campus Rating
Talking about the campus life, if you are interested in fests, functions and other activities then this college is a good choice for you. Famous celebrities visit our college during fests. There are various clubs that you can join, which will improve your CV. There are many things to do in our college, so you won’t get bored.

    Seeing at my lower percentile in my diploma course I was a bit scared whether I would get admission in any good college or not. I was very happy when I got a seat in Pillai HOC College of Engineering. One can also get a seat through management quota in this college.... Read Full Review

    Pillai Engineering College Rasayani is an average college for engineering. The one located in New Panvel holds greater reputation and rankings than this college. The admission process is same for both the colleges. I got into this college in Rasayani because my percentile was pretty much low. I think getting into the Pillai Engineering College New Panvel requires a considerably higher percentile.
