Honest Review About IIMT University, Meerut

Overall Rating
Talking about my overall personal experience in this university has been pretty good. I got to know about different personalities here. People are good and kind in this college. All the faculties and staff members are kind and helpful in nature. I like the infrastructure of this university and the availability of different things to do here. I can say that I am enjoying my college life at IIMT University.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen this course because of the availability of the field in this like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Analysis, etc. The entry requirement/eligibility is less; you only need a minimum of 40% in the 10+2 examination. My motive for enrolling in this course is to gain as much information as I can about the business. The academics are based on the semester exams. Semester exams are conducted 2 times every year, in the interval of 6 months. Before the semester exam, 2 sessional exams are conducted on an interval of approximately 3 months.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members who are teaching us are very polite and kind. They always help us regarding studies and various other problems. The faculty here is highly motivated and educated; most of them belong to higher backgrounds which tell us how knowledgeable they are. Their style of teaching is excellent. They go through every topic in depth and try to explain it in an easy and effective way, so we can remember what was taught for a long time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university has a placement cell. It helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry. 70% of the students who apply for placements get jobs easily. The eligibility criterion for acquiring a placement is having a 7 CGPA. The highest package was 33.50 LPA and the average package ranges between 3.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities available in the institute for both boys and girls separately. I would say the hostel life is the best; one should stay in the hostel once. There are 2 buildings for the boys and 1 for the girls. The hostel contains 2 types of rooms, AC and non-AC rooms. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. 4 different meals are provided every day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are various blocks which are differentiated according to the field of study. There are 8 blocks in the campus including the Administrative Block, A block, B block, C block, D block, E block, F and H block which have courses like Basic Sciences, Technology, Medical, Commerce and Management, Law, Hotel Management and Physiotherapy. There are various types of amenities available like 2 cafeterias and a library. The university also has a hospital called IIMT Life Line Hospital.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is good as I expected it to be. There are various activities that happen here. The university is crowded as compared to other colleges, as it contains courses offered by AKTU also. There are various fests which happen throughout the year like the Cultural Fest, Alumni Meet and Samagam. Various sports competitions are held in the field of cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, etc.

    IIMT provides good placements to all the students. The college faculty is highly experienced; they all have done PhD. The faculty provides the best knowledge to their students; their behavior is really friendly and good. IIMT Engineering College has a big college campus and also has good staff management.
