Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology is good for B.Tech. As I am pursuing B.Tech from here and am in my second year, I can tell what I’ve been through. This college basically focuses only on a few major sectors that are academics, placements and the faculty. This college has one of the best smart labs and classes. In the first year, the college focuses on academics. The teachers are completely focused on the student’s academic performance. In the second year, the teachers and instructors focus more on the industrial skills that are in demand. There are special morning classes for students. Overall, there is no flaw in the academic management. I highly recommend this college because of its good location in Noida, experienced teacher and senior faculty, high placement rates, great coding atmosphere and has good fees with respect to the infrastructure. If you don’t have a good JEE percentile i.e. below 85%, or have a low 12th score i.e. below 90% then you can take admission here.

The overall experience is very great in academics. I scored 7.5+ CGPA, which is quiet decent in AKTU and this is because of the good faculty here. They conducted weekly test, class assessments and many other things to make students to give more attention to their academics in their first year. The curricular of academics very strict in the first year, but after that you get the freedom of attending other skill based classes rather than the classes of the college curriculum.

I have a positive review for the faculty, as they are very good. You are free to ask doubts. The teachers are very cooperative to help you in your college projects that are to be made in the second year and third year. The core subject of computer, DSA is taught by a very dedicated instructor. There are separate classes and curriculum for technical subjects such as DSA, OOP, Web Development, Frameworks, etc.

The placement cell is very active in terms of placements. Recently, the average package was about 6 LPA and the maximum package was of 32 LPA. 3rd year students are placed in internships by the college. The internship period for students starts in the mid of the third year. As Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology is a tire 3 college, you have to see other details via the official college website and LinkedIn where students have been placed till now.

This college only has a girl’s hostel in the campus, which is very good in terms of safety. The infrastructure, food and other facilities are very good. The boy’s hostel is at the distance of 1km in the "Aryan Residency". The boy’s hostel is also very good, the annual fee for the boy’ hostel is about one lakh and twenty thousand for triple sharing rooms.

The labs are very up-to-date and well equipped. The classrooms are facilitated with ACs and computer equipments. The campus is about 10 acres for the B.Tech department. This college has 2 campuses for Law, BBA, MBA and a new campus for B.Tech. The labs for Physics and Electrical are not quite good. There are no lifts available. The college does not have a dedicated sports complex or sports pool. But there is an open public gym. There is a cafeteria in the campus, but the food provided is expensive. The library is good, having the seating capacity of 150 students. There is no office for the fee in the new campus, so you have to go to old campus for any fees related issues.

There are only two to three fests in a year. The sports fest is conducted semester wise. Codathons are active in this college. The fest ratio is low in the B.Tech department. There are no clubs or societies except for one coding club. This causes major lag in the interaction between senior and juniors.
