Review on Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences

Overall Rating
My overall experience of the college is great. The infrastructure is good and well maintained. The faculties here are highly qualified and very interactive with students. The seniors are friendly. The classroom sizes are a bit small; it has seating facilities for like 60 students, which is drawback of the college.
 

Academics Rating
The CSIT course has all the subjects which are required for coping up with the modern day industry. For the admission you have to get a minimum 50% in your 12th board examination and you have to clear a personal interview. The college also has well equipped labs and all the required tools for learning a specific subject.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are very interactive. They are even available after the college hours. They encourage us to ask doubts. But the number of faculties in the computer science branch is comparatively less. also the faculties keep changing very frequently which makes it harder for students to match their frequencies with the new faculties.
 

Placement Rating
The college has a placement cell but it is not dedicated to B.Tech students. The placement cell provides workshops, seminars and placement training. The university also has a mandatory internship policy after completion of every two semesters without which you cannot be promoted to the next semester. The average package of the branch is around 7, 00,000 per annum and the placement percentage is around 80%.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, but I did not opt for it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is great. The university has separate buildings for management and engineering. The campus is full of greenery. They also have a library with well stocked books of the latest editions along with newspapers, magazines and research papers. The campus also has a cafeteria but the food there is a bit expensive and unhygienic.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is decent. There are students from all over India which is a great part about the university. There are very few clubs in the college like the sports club, singing club, and dancing club. The college organizes regular fests like SYMBUZZ and SAMAKSH. There are various sports facilities in the university and inter college competitions are hosted regularly.

    Overall I would consider Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences to be a good college but there is still a lot of scope for improvement. The infrastructure is quite lavish and is well maintained by the university. Academic curriculum is also well designed with scope of industry exposure after each year.
