VIT BHOPAL : Opinion

Overall Rating
The institution is 60km away from the city of lakes Bhopal. The college is located in a remote area. The main advantage is that the faculty members are highly qualified and have doctorate degree. The campus has a total of 350 acres of land and has 8 boy’s hostel, 2 girl’s hostel, 1 academic block, 1 architecture building, and 2 lab complex buildings. There are 2 shops for refreshments.
 

Academics Rating
For getting admission to VIT Bhopal an individual has to appear in VITEEE Exam. If you have a rank less than 1 lakh you can get admission with CATEGORY 1 (fees 198000). The admission course fee depends on your rank if you exceeded more than 1 lakh then there are 95% chances for a better course (fees 298000). My motive of joining this program was that you can get better placement opportunities through this.
 

Faculty Rating
To be honest VIT Bhopal is the only university having 100% doctoral in India with specialized faculty members. The courses are distributed in such a way that you will get maximum of everything. Every faculty is specialized in their subjects and they help you in every research work of your choice according to the subject.
 

Placement Rating
Yes the college has a placement cell and they provide excellent placements. The placements depend on how the student is skilled and how they solve things. Placement cell is very friendly for every student. They launch hackathons for student and gave various opportunities for internship. Students can actively participate in hackathons and internship. Student should score good CGPA for getting priority in the placements. Placements vary from in campus placement and central placement, they can choose accordingly.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes college has residential facilities with 8 boy’s hostels of capacity of more than 10000 students and 2 girls hostel having a capacity of more than 2000 students. The food is overall so tasty. The main concern is the management as the college is new. The building is under construction. There are water issues and only a table fan is provided to the students. Each block has there hostel supervisor and hostel warden. Basically every hostel has badminton court, basketball court and has a big cricket field. The food provided in hostel is overall good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure building includes one academic, two lab complex, and an architecture building. In the academic block, you have a library, stationary and everything a student needs. The classrooms and labs are well equipped. It also has an aerospace lab with a Cessna plane that is fully functional and also the robotic lab has robots.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is fun. You are going to enjoy the campus life. Crowd is also friendly and cheerful. There are total of two fifty plus technical and nontechnical clubs. Activities are conducted every day and you will get attendance for attending any of the club functions. Many motivational speakers and popular dance influencers also visit the college. There are fests and events related to sports and technical activities. The cultural fest named ADVITYA. It is India's biggest fest. Mohit Chauhan was the main highlight of the event ADVITYA 2024.

    VIT Bhopal is a decent and good University and there are many good facilities like having good hostels, FFCS system, and the doctorate faculties to train the students for future.     VIT Bhopal is an average university with decent placement opportunities and average campus infrastructure. Students get good opportunities for participating in the extracurricular activities.     According to my experiences, the infrastructure is good. Campus life is average not that great as IIT's. One great thing in this university is that the entire faculty is Ph.D holders and highly experienced, mostly from IIT's.
