Jain B.Tech student college experience

Overall Rating
The studies in the college are taken pretty seriously. Maintaining a good attendance percentage which is 75% is also important for getting exam ticket hassle free. The college is overall good. But the mess is the issue for students staying in the hostel as the food in the mess is not good.
 

Academics Rating
Classes are being held regularly. In Jain we rarely get a lecture free as the faculty is quite punctual and dedicated. Attendance is also taken seriously in this college. I am currently enrolled in CSBS in Jain University which is a pretty good course. If you are interested in computer science and business as well then this course is a good choice. For enrolling in Jain University you have to give entrance exam which is conducted by Jain itself known as JET or you can get in through mains result.
 

Faculty Rating
As CSBS is a new course which was started in college 2 years back. The faculty isn’t that experienced and qualified. In CSBS there are total of 3 specialized teachers out of which two are Ph.D holders. Other branches faculty also teaches students of CSBS. The teachers usually teach students from PPT made by them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at Jain University and they help students acquire jobs by providing mock interviews and conducting regular exams.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is not a great option for students as the fees of hostel is very high and the facility provided is really low. In three sharing hostel we aren't provided with any desk or chair. The rooms are very small and only have one cupboard and a bed while the fees for three sharing are 1.65L. Most of the time there is no drinking water in the hostel or there is a power cut. There are no shops inside the hostel. The food in the mess is also not of good quality.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is quite good and large. There are separate buildings for CS and Aerospace- Aeronautical. The mess is quite large and spacious. There are basketball courts, tennis court, football ground, amphitheater, Collasium, gym and cafe. The FET is the main building of the college and usually classes of all of the sub branches of CS are held there.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of this college is good and worth living. There are a lot of clubs in the college like literature club, music club, photography club, dance club etc. There are a lot of small scale events that happens usually in the college but the most major event of the college is INFINITY that is usually held in starting of the year. After classes students can gather and play any sport they like.

    So my experience in Jain University is very good and I am still enjoying my days in the university. I am meeting new friends and enjoying life here. Also the infrastructure is quite good. We have forums (clubs) and many more. We have activities every month and we get events every week. It’s nice to always be around events.     Jain University is an extraordinary university and has a widespread campus with great facilities. I have no regrets joining this university, they provide internships and placement opportunities. The university has a very good exposure in sports and has a great sports team for students to represent.
