As this is a government based college, it is better than almost all the private colleges. It located in the industrial city of Jamshedpur. Its placement for the core branch is very good and even comparable to IITs. Apart from this, the coding culture is good too. This college has 300 acres lush green campus with all the basic amenities provided to the students.

This college offers several courses like under graduate, post graduate and even Ph.Ds. One can enroll themselves in the under graduate course of B.Tech (Hons) by giving the JEE Mains and then through JOSAA or CSAB counselling. It has all the major branches like Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, Production and ECM (Electronics and computer engineering). If anyone who wants a decent placement after 4 years of B.Tech, should enroll themselves in this college.

The faculty members of this college have a diverse knowledge of their respective subjects. Some of them are in the list of top 2 % of professors in the entire world. Their style of teaching is very practical. They explain concepts utilising the latest technologies. They even give extra grades for doing projects in their subjects, which ultimately enhances our skills. The professor can sometimes play sports with the students too. Hence, the teacher and student bond is very good.

One of the major perks of our college is its placements. Yes, we have dedicated training and placements cells in our college which includes several top notch students and professors in it .They assist and guide all students for getting placements. The office liaises with various industrial establishments and corporate houses, which conduct campus interviews and select graduates, post-graduates and Ph.D students from all disciplines. Nearly 100+ companies visit campus so that everyone is placed in their respective fields.

Yes, we have residential facilities in our college for all students. In the first year, boys will be getting Hostel-I and like every other hostel this one has all the basic facilities like 24 hr supply of electricity and water. Single rooms are provided to the students from the 2nd year. The mess is in the hostel area itself. There is also night canteen which operates till 2 a.m. daily. There is a ground for playing sports like volleyball and badminton. Hence, you will enjoy the hostel life.

This college was established in 1960s so some of the buildings are quite old. Despite this, the college is trying to improve their infrastructure. The college has a full air conditioned building named DJLHC (Diamond Jublee Lecture Hall Complex) which conducts fully advanced classes. Canteens are provided in the building for the faculty and students. There is a huge library equipped with ACs. The TSG building is for recreational activities.

The campus life of this college is decent. All the basic facilities like photocopy, stationary and barber shop is provided in campus itself. Moreover for eating purposes, we have a Nescafe store, juice center, Dosa corner, continental, sudha store etc. in the campus itself. There are active sports clubs for all the major sports and technical clubs which help in academics. There are cultural clubs too for singing, dancing and content writing etc. All these clubs work together and conduct 3 annual fests in the college namely, Urja (sports fest), Culfest (cultural fest) and Ojas (technical fest). Therefore, the students will enjoy their campus life here apart from their academics.
