B.N.M Institute of Technology is an autonomous private technical co-educational engineering education institution located in Bangalore, and is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. It is known for its academics and discipline. My overall experience so far has been great. The faculty here comes from top educational backgrounds with extensive teaching experience. They are very friendly and understanding. If you are dedicated to become a good engineer this college is right choice for you. It also supports your talents and skills and offers numerous opportunities to showcase your potential.

BNMIT gives importance to academics. Nearly 6 hours of classes are conducted. Teachers are much disciplined with their work. Sometimes extra classes are conducted to improve students’ learning. Three internals, lab internals and assignment tests are conducted and their average is considered as internal marks. External exam (semester end) is conducted for 100 marks. College also provides scholarship to students every year.

BNM Institute of Technology has a strong faculty who is highly qualified and has achieved university ranks. The faculty of BNMIT is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The teachers here are very helpful and focus on resolving the doubts of the students. They make arrangements to conduct extra classes to finish syllabus on time. The quality of education they are providing is excellent. They always try to make students understand each and every topic in depth with clarity. They aim to bring out the best in each and every student.

BNMIT has good placements every year. BNMIT has lots of companies visiting the campus for placements. Some of them are Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Our college placement cell is really very helpful for students to get their placements in top companies. They start training students to improve their skills from lower semesters. 90% of the students who apply for placements are placed in well known companies. The management also guides students to take decisions over higher studies and other career opportunities.

There are hostel facilities in our college for boys and girls separately. I was not living in hostel but my friends who stayed at hostel say that the hostel facilities are up to the mark. All the facilities such as water and food are good. Fun activities are also conducted in the hostel.

BNMIT has a good infrastructure. There are 4 blocks with 5-6 floors; each floor has around 10 classrooms. There are lifts, staffrooms, labs, restrooms, and seminar halls in every block. Our college has one big auditorium where numbers of events are conducted. Washrooms are well maintained and clean, they keep cleaning it number of times a day to maintain hygiene. BNMIT has one canteen where the food served is delicious and well prepared.

There are separate fully equipped labs for each subject. A library is present which has books that are organized department wise. Studying in library is so peaceful. There are events such as TATVA, hackathons, quiz, ethnic day and many more. These events are exciting and fun. The college conducts different tournaments for sports like cricket, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. It also has good sports infrastructure for different sports.
