Sinhgad College is famous for its education system all over the Maharashtra it's one of the biggest education system in Maharashtra which is located in Pune. I choose Sinhgad college because of the brand name and the branch I have chosen for engineering is electronic which is not available in every college. Therefore, I chose this college as it has better faculty and anyone who have interests in electronic and telecommunication should join this college as it gives best education in this branch.

First of all to get admission you need to have your 12 board exam passed that's the top requirement and you need to score good marks in MHT-CET exam on basis of that college can choose you because college only allows the students who are in their range like for Sinhgad college there's range of 80 to 90 percentile. I enroll in Electronics because from the starting I have interest in building different electric components like microprocessor and programs. I can follow my passion through this branch because this college provides the best instruments that we need.

The college has well experienced faculty members. Most of them have Ph.D holders so they are highly knowledgeable. Most of the faculty has done their masters in Electronics Engineering. Faculty mostly teaches us on the projector. They create their own PPT for effectively explaining the topics to the students.

There is placement cell in college for every branch but to really get the placement students needs to work hard to upgrade their skills because company don't care about marks they need skill and college should also focus on that. That’s what lacks in the placement cell in my college. They should provide trainings to the students for interview. Sinhgad College have central placement system means you can apply to any other branch of Sinhgad college if the company you desire didn’t came in your college therefore it's golden opportunity for those who need job.

There is residential facility for the students in the college. For every year students there's a different building. In each room 4 students live each have their own bed, table, chair and rack to keep their things. A warden is always present in the hostel. The buildings of hostel are mostly modern with the right amount of open area to get fresh air in. Various events and activities are organised by the hostel in which students from different years participate. So hostel residential facility are well enough as for the money we spend in it.

Campus building is big enough actually there are 2 buildings, one for the first year students and electronic branch students together and other for computer and IT branch students. Both of the buildings are big enough. The classrooms are not that big as only 60 students can study in it at a time. Water filters are also available in the college for students. Reading hall is available for students to study which is open for 24 hours so anyone can go there and study at any time.

College campus life is somewhat limited to only college because it's located in the mountains far from the city. Several fests are also organised in the college like in February month there's fest called Surabhi in which different programs are organised from dance, singing to unique things like treasure hunting and standup comedy. You will get different prizes too for it so students are always excited for it.
