Overall Rating
VIT Vellore is a renowned university. VIT provides you a fantastic exposure as students come here from all states and other countries. It’s well known for amazing placement stats. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte and many more visit the campus for placements. Vast campus of 372 acres provides you a lot of extracurricular activities. The average package of VIT Vellore is 9.5 lakh per annum and highest offered was 1.2 crore.
 

Academics Rating
It conducts its own entrance exam called VITEEE. Branches are then provided through counseling on the basis of your ranks. This exam includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Math, English and Mental Ability. Apart from this students should have an aggregate of 60 percent in PCM for admission.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at VIT Vellore are always available for students to solve their queries which often go beyond classrooms too. Many of the professors hold Ph.D degrees. The curriculum is always updated as per the requirements of industry. Their teaching involves a perfect combination of both theoretical as well as practical skills.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are pretty decent at VIT Vellore. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, etc. visit the campus. Total number of students placed last year was 14345.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are well equipped with all required basic necessities like furniture and many more. There are various choices among rooms that are 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 bedded rooms. Students can also choose AC or non-AC room. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian messes are available in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
VIT carries a gigantic infrastructure for students of all programs. The college has a library with a good collection of books. Different types of labs are present in the campus for enhancing practical skills of students. Sports facilities at VIT Vellore are too good including cricket, basketball, swimming, badminton, gym, table tennis, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at VIT is great, the university conducts two grand fests called 'GRAVITAS-TECH FEST' and RIVIERA-CULTURAL FEST'. Apart from this there are various competitions throughout the year. There are many active clubs like dance, music, theatre, etc. Celebrities and renowned personalities also visit the campus during fests.

    VIT, Vellore is a really great institute for anyone who is interested to pursue engineering. It has a wonderful campus of around 375 acres. It has all sorts of amenities that you expect from a premier institute. I chose this institute for its all round brilliance and because of the fact that it is ranked 11th in the NIRF ranking.   • Placement Opportunities and Infrastructure at VIT Vellore

    Curriculum: I am currently pursuing CSE at Vellore Institute of Technology. Learnt basics and everything is going fine. There is a great thing called FFCS here where I could choose my desired faculty and course according to my interest. One can get enough freedom of doing his/her desired course. Clubs: VIT has many clubs which keep organizing events in a regular interval of time.     I have joined in VIT VELLORE in the year of 2024 as a fresher in B.Tech course. The college is very big and the college infrastructure is very huge and they provide an excellent opportunity for students with quality teaching and equipments.     I am currently a fresher at VIT. In all honesty, professors are decent, and the infrastructure is exceptional. The events are also really fresher friendly, and so much fun. VIT is also known for good placements, and it's something to look forward to. The lab facilities are well maintained and on point.
