I chose Poddar International College for my BCA because the fee here is lower than other institutes offering BCA. Fees for 3 years it is 1, 80,000 and they give merit based and sports based scholarships too. Other than this 75% attendance is also not mandatory they'll adjust it for you since it is a private institute. If you have plans after BCA like to pursue MCA from somewhere else or go into government jobs or exams you can choose to do BCA from such a college.

BCA course in Poddar International College is a 3 year program divided in 6 semesters from 2023. This college is affiliated to Rajasthan University and they introduced semester system in 2023. Any student from Science, Commerce and Arts with 40% or more marks in 12th is eligible to apply. Process is very simple come to the college fill form and pay fees and now you're admitted.

Talking about faculty there are some experienced faculty member who have years of experience in teaching and some faculty are new. Faculty is good in teaching but they are mostly syllabus oriented. They skip practical lab sessions which are not good for BCA. They focus on making the student just pass the exam.

Poddar International College have placement cell which also train candidates for placement. They organise training and placement club, soft skill training sessions. Many students opt for higher studies or leave to get better packages since package in BCA is low about 4-5 LPA package maximum and 1.5-2 LPA average.

Infrastructure is a negative point here in this college because campus is small. There is only one building in which there are all classes, labs and even an auditorium. College has good lab facility but books in library are quite old. There is no ground for outdoor sports and the sports room in basement is smaller than classroom. Canteen is also small max 15-20 people can fit in there.

Campus life is not like what you expect that’s why many students choose not to attend the classes here. Seniors in BCA are not that active. Study environment is not maintained in class. Clubs are also not good. College conducts some annual events which are good and some events monthly.
