Overall Rating
The Knowledge Institute Technology is a one of the best Engineering colleges in the Salem region of Tamil Nadu. This institute provides better placement opportunities than other colleges and has excellent placement trainings from reputed institutes. KIOT provides opportunities to explore ones talent through extracurricular activities. This institute also has a Start Up Cell for encouraging and promoting start up ideas of students.
 

Academics Rating
To take admission in this course, have to get a seat from the government or management quota. The college provides special sessions for students to get motivation and inspiration from academic experts. This college not only supports theoretical learning, but also promotes practical learning. The course syllabus is framed according to the industry needs.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in this college are highly knowledgeable and skilled. The college provides special training to upgrade their faculty’s skills. Friendly bonds are created between students and their faculties. The faculties mentor the students for project works, academics and placement activities. They explain all concepts thoroughly and enhance the skills of their students.
 

Placement Rating
This college provides quality placement for their students. The 2024 batch students nearly had 93% of students placed in reputed companies like Virtusa, Tech Mahindra, and Tessolve Semiconductors etc. This college follows different patterns for students to get placed in good companies. The average salary for the 2024 batch students was 3.5 LPA. Japanese training is provided to students who got placement opportunities in Japanese companies.
 

Hostel Rating
This college has a good infrastructure for hostels. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The meals provided are very hygienic and tastes good. Hostel students get permission to use the academic laboratories during the holidays.

The campus is surrounded by beautiful greenery. Free Wi-Fi facilities are provided for both the hostel and college premises. The central library provides many books for issuing. The academics laboratory has a good studying environment for the students. The classrooms are very clean and spacious.

The college has different clubs for students to engage in social activities. Every month they will conduct a Fine Arts event for the students to showcase their talents through music or dances. Every year we celebrate the Pongal festival.
