An overview on Greater Noida Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
GNIOT’s engineering is quiet good, the placement scenario are also good like 60% to 70% students get placed here. Mass recruiter companies like TCS also visited the college and some students got placed in other reputed companies in off campus placements through GNIOT Alumni network. College Also doing industrial visits time to time.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor of Technology course admission through JEE exam and counseling and college also take admission through Direct or Management quota. There is also Scholarship provided by the Government to student of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Curriculum is good and is according to AKTU university. Syllabus is Moderated not very tough. There is a 75 % Attendance criteria which is mandatory.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are Ph.D holders mostly and have good knowledge of their respective subjects and also have so many researches paper that are written by them. Management faculties are not good, their behavior is not good and they are very arrogant. Faculties organised time to time seminar and event and also helps student in organizing these events.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of Computer Science (CSE) is around 70%. And others Branch like IoT have 60 to 70% placement record. Some branch like AI and AIML, CS Design and DATA Science and Cyber Security are new branches.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 hostels in the college campus which includes 2 girl’s hostel and 1 boy’s hostel. Various facilities for fulfilling basic needs and requirements are available in the hostel. Infrastructure is good. Hostel has a medical room. Hostel has its own sports room and an open ground. The mess food provided by the mess is not that good. Hostel have 24/7 Electricity and Wi-Fi is also provided 24 hours. Hostel gates are closed at 10 PM for both girls and boys students. Night canteen is also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College has different building for different courses like B.Tech, MBA, BCA, Nursing and Law. Some buildings are new and have a nicely designed structure. Campus has sports ground for different sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, and Football. Canteen area is under construction. There are 7 canteens in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The college like here is average. There is a 75% attendance criterion. The college has a crowd of 5000+ students here. There are different clubs in the college like Social Club, Cultural Club, Tech Club, Sports Club, Coding Club, and Drama club. Various seminars, events and alumni meets are also organised here.

    Overall, the institute provides a friendly environment and infrastructure to the students. The teachers are familiar with the current technical trends and teach us accordingly. The professors always complete the syllabus on time and always help us throughout the subject.     G.N.I.O.T. is good in terms of academics, because the placement is quiet good about 70% of students get placed.     I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from this college. I want to share my experience. This college lacks decent facilities and infrastructure. I attempted the JEE Mains in 2021 but did not succeed. If you find yourself in a situation like mine, where options are limited, you may consider applying here.
