Patna Women's College- The Best in Bihar

Overall Rating
Patna Women's College is affiliated to the Patna University. It's the first college in Bihar that has been accredited A++ grading by NACC. This institute is best known for its faculty and discipline. The faculty here is well experienced and provides scope for holistic development of the students. Besides the good study environment there is also great exposure towards art, drama and sports.
 

Academics Rating
I have done my BA (Economics Hons.) from this institute. For enrolling into any course, the students have to give the entrance exam which is conducted by the college itself and then on the basis of the exam, merit lists are put out. But this year in 2024 admissions were done on the basis of 12th standard board marks due to the Loksabha elections. I applied for the B.A. Economics Honors program because of the exposure that this university provides.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is well experienced. They supervise various research projects and take initiative in teaching the students innovatively by conducting field visits. They explain the students about the varied prospects in their fields. Guest lectures are also held time to time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Patna Women's College has a placement cell. The final year students are regularly notified about the various companies that visit the campus for recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostel facilities is available in the college. The rooms are well maintained and clean. But it is quite strict and disciplined, you can only use your phone for a fixed period of time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a great infrastructure facility; with big grounds, lots of greenery, 3 academic blocks and the marvelous Veronica auditorium which has the seating capacity of 3000 people. All the basic amenities from cafeteria, drinking water, Sehat Kendra and ATM machine etc. everything is available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is quiet and not very over the top. Sports day, annual day, cultural programs are all held annually. The college has NSS, NCC and other clubs like the Eco Task Force, Debating Society, Ecospectrum, Dakhal Drama Society and Performing Arts Club. So there's a lot to explore here.

    This institute is well mannered and the faculty is very good. Phones are prohibited in the college campus. Teachers are kind and polite. They are willing to help you in every way.     The reason I chose this college is because of the best faculty that is provided by the college provide. They have got the best professor for each subject. The ambience is great there.
