My Experience at NSU

Overall Rating
My college experience is medium not too good not too bad. I have chosen this college because of infrastructure. The infrastructure is pretty good and is equipped with AC’s and fully furnished classrooms. All the facilities are available here like libraries, computer labs, etc. Although the campus is not very much big but it is good enough. Plus bus facility is provided by the college and bus connectivity is great. You don't need to pay extra for bus.
 

Academics Rating
BCA is a bachelor degree program which costed me around 1, 80,000 which makes 30K per semester + 2.5K exam fees every semester. The fee for BCA is increased to 42K per semester. Eligibility - You need minimum 45% in intermediate irrespective of any steam. There no requirement of entrance exam, you can directly take admission.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good enough. Most of the faculties are well qualified with master’s degree and some have done Ph.D also. I have personally found good teachers who have good teaching style. Plus if we have any doubts we can ask from teachers. Teachers are also friendly and of helping nature. I haven't faced any issues with teacher.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not up to the mark as claimed. However the institute claims 100% placement assistance. The placement is average, you can expect around 2.5-4 LPA on campus. Some small companies visit the campus for recruiting students. 20-30% student get placed on campus and mostly other student go for of campus placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. Girl’s hostels are inside the campus so you don't have to take tension and boy hostel is outside next to campus. Hostel fee is 75k per year with food included. Hostel infrastructure is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good, AC equipped classes with smart board and stuffs. We have 2 computer labs, library, practical labs, etc. College campus is not very much big as compared to other colleges. Washrooms are pretty decent and clean, water cooler is also available for summer time. Canteen is also good and the canteen is pretty spacious.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is moderate not too much active. There are not much fests are held in college, this time one fest was organised with a band show. Fresher’s day and farewell are organised, some of the clubs are active. You can also enroll in Rotaract club at college. Sports day is also conducted named Ranneeti.

    I like my University because of the beautiful sitting areas, gardens, a beautiful campus, everything is so clean and well maintained. Teacher’s behavior and teaching skills are so good.     This college is the best college for the students of Jamshedpur who cannot afford premium colleges. This college offers premium courses in very affordable fee. The faculties are also well educated, experienced, and they have a good behavior towards the students. They help us in every problem which is related to our studies. I chose BCA because it is the best IT college in Jamshedpur and all the facilities of IT are present here. The faculties are also very well in their subjects.     Netaji Subhas University is well known as NSU in Jamshedpur. It's the best college in Sariekela Kharsawan or in the entire Jamshedpur.
