A complete IPSAR review: Suitable for BCA

Overall Rating
IPSAR is a technical college located in the main city of Cuttack. It offers a variety of courses. I am currently pursuing BCA. The college has decent infrastructure and opportunities. The curriculum is relevant to industry norms and placements are also provided. The college life here is also decent with festivals and cultural programs being a part of it.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in IPSAR the minimum qualification must have cleared the 12th board exam from any board. The college conducts IPSAR admission test (IAT) for concurrent admissions in the academic year. Students can get through from AIMA-UGAT exam as well. Admission is done on first-cum-first serve basis. This process to get admission.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are mostly friendly. Most of the teachers are from Odisha and speak fluently in English as well as Hindi. Hence, there is no such language barrier present over here. Teachers focus on conceptual teaching and provide enough study material before exams. The faulty members are caring, gentle and responsive.
 

Placement Rating
The college provides decent campus placements. The average package is around 200000 rupees per annum. The highest package is said to be 600000 rupees per annum. The placement ratio is around 20-30% of all people who took admission in the course.
 

Hostel Rating
In my admission time the annual tuition fee was approximately 45000, which covered the cost of courses fee. Hostel and meal plans are added another 55000 to 60000 per year, depending on the choices of students. Books and supplies cost an additional 500 annually.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure includes classrooms, libraries. It also has a huge canteen. The college is having a computer lab for practice. Infrastructure is very well. There is a lawn in our college where the students can sit, relax and study. An academic building is situated in front of the gate. There is a library in our college. The basic structure of our college is good.
 

Campus Rating
The college doesn't have a fest of its own. However, cultural festivals like Saraswati puja, Ganesh Puja are celebrated with great joy. There are some clubs which have decent activity in the campus. Campus life is too good.
