A review on Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering

Overall Rating
The college is situated at a small hill type area, which gives a good view of college as well as campus. If you want to just study and don’t want a good social life in college then you can come here.
 

Academics Rating
I personally took Electronics Engineering in this college. I got 78 percentile and I got through CAP round and I belong to OBC. And you can also take admission from ILQ quota in which you will not get scholarship. And the form is available on the college website. The college mainly focuses on only academic activities only.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department of Electronics Engineering the faculty is generally too old. So the connection between the professor and student not that much good. And also the teachers are very strict. The faculty is highly qualified even my class teacher in 1st year was an IITians and has also done his Ph.D in Math.
 

Placement Rating
Yes the college has a placement cell. But it is mostly run by students of the college. The college placement cell us not much active as only 50% students get placed from college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes the college has a girl's hostel as well as boy's hostel in it. I do reside in hostel and the hostel fees for 3 seater and common bathroom is 100,000 and 2 seater attached washroom is 125000. The rooms and hostel premises are good as compared to money they are taking. The quality of food is not that good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has 1 building called science building for 1st year students and each branch is given a personal building. Like IT, CSE, Electronics, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical. They all have their personal buildings.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in college is good if you have good friends. The college is situated at hill type area which makes it fun to roam in it. The crowd in campus is good and variant of students are seen. The college conducts only 2 fests in a year. 1 Yash which happens in February for 10 days and it has many events in it like Dj night, Cricket league and many more. And other fests are departmental fests which are organised in September.

    I think your experience in college is what you make of it. Not everyone will have the same experience as me. Honestly, I am satisfied with my decision to join YCCE. Every college has its pros and cons but overall, it is a great place to learn, grow, and succeed. College has various types of branches with specialization in AI/ML, IoT, AI-DS, etc....
