My Review on N.I.E.T.

Overall Rating
The college is not that bad and its faculty members are very supportive. N.I.E.T. is an autonomous institute so they have their own curriculum which is comparatively easy from other colleges. This institute has a descent NIRF ranking and is quite affordable as compared to other universities in Noida.
 

Academics Rating
For direct admission in N.I.E.T. your percentage should be greater 75% in 12th. If you have enough money then you can also get admission in N.I.E.T. through giving donations to the college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are quite young. Some female teachers look like they are 2nd or 3rd year students. Some of the teachers are really good and very supportive. They give you good marks and sometimes additional attendance if your attendance is falling short. They teach mainly through PPTs and PDFs.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are declining every year. The placement department is not so good. You have to apply off campus for a good placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good, nice and clean. The mess food is edible. The rooms are average though; they don’t have ACs and only a few rooms have attached washrooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not so good. There 5 blocks (A, B, C, D, E). The classrooms are very overcrowded and don’t even have ACs in them. Some classrooms don’t have smart boards so teachers use whiteboards to teach.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is okayish. You have to attend all the classes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's more like a school than a college. If your attendance goes less than 75%, they will send a message to your parents regarding low attendance and you are likely to be detained in the upcoming exams.

    Strong placement record, experienced faculties, Clean Environment, transportation services are also very good. One of the best Institutes that I have seen in Greater Noida. There are lots of fests organized in this Institute and the students are also nice. They come from a very good family background.     NIET is a good institute when it comes to placements. Admission in NIET is mainly done through AKTU counseling and courses are allotted through the JEE rank. The first year fee submitted in the institute during admission was 179000 rupees, which includes tuition fee, exam fee, student welfare charges and many more. In addition, the institute hostel charges are different based on AC/Non AC. the hostel fee for 4 seater is 93600 rupees. For fees waivers, it is 60000 for first year and 40000 from th...     I think the NIET has both pros and cons. If I talk about the cons first -: if you are expecting that you are going to live a college life with bunch of fun activities then no, you are at a different place. The campus is not too big, if you are thinking that you can manage by not attending regular classes then you are wrong they have a strict attendance criteria of 85%.
