Deshbandhu College Review

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the college is good. There are many societies and clubs to join and interact with new people and learn new skills. The faculty members are also good at teaching and give good hands on experience. We have our annual fest called, “SABRANG” which is celebrated very nicely in the college with dance performances, singing, drama, DJ night and a celebrity artist’s performance.
 

Academics Rating
In academics the science field mainly stands out because of the infrastructure and faculty members are highly trained and educated. All labs are well equipped. Even the lab staff is very cooperative. We are provided all the study materials for the exams. I recommended students to join this college; it would be a great learning experience.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very educated especially the science department teachers. The professors have about 20-30 years of teaching experience. They have great knowledge of their subject. In fact one to one interaction is done with students in order to solve their doubts. The faculty members are very polite as they always listen to the needs and demands of the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of the Deshbandhu College is quite active.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the new science block has been nicely built. We have a good canteen and cafeteria to chill and eat some food. The classes are well built with ventilation facilities. The grounds are quite spacious to play various sports activities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is full of socializing. You will meet plenty of new people and learn so many things from them. Develop your overall personality through competitions, workshops and conferences. You must try to get your hands on everything and grow yourself.

    I mean, this college is overall good for academics and attendance system is somewhat ok. The crowd is friendly. It is affordable and has decent higher education. It also provides very solid foundation for academics and extracurricular activities. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) are prominent in also Deshbandhu College.     It was good because Deshbandhu College enhanced my knowledge by studying multiple subjects in a semester that made my knowledge increase intensely higher as it makes me comfortable to know many more things about social media apps. In addition, The infrastructure is average according to fee Delhi University is charging from student because the lecture rooms don’t have air conditioners, which result in suffocation during summers....   • Deshbandhu College Cutoffs and Admission Criteria

    It's near my house like half hour travel and its Delhi University after all. At my first round I got this college so decided and don't wanted to risk it so I immediately locked this college. Till now my semester 1 is almost over and my experience is pretty good. Some Professors really care about students and teach them properly with efforts of asking them again and again did they understand the concept or not.     I got admission in Deshbandhu College by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University. As it's not among the mainstream colleges of DU, so I was doubtful about it. But when I went to this college on the very first day I was relieved as this is one of the best colleges I've ever visited to.     Overall Rating
    The college is very good and has ample opportunities for students. We can grow our skills and widened our network with other alumni. It has other upsides also like campus space is sufficient and nearby societies is also good. The only downside is that there is no football ground. The admission process is online so kind of slow and is through CUET. The college has cafeteria and canteen at two different sites. Moreover, it has good space. Food is okay. Tea is good....
