Life at NIT Jalandhar

Overall Rating
The life at NIT Jalandhar is so beautiful and it comes under the top 10 NIT colleges in India. It has an astonishing infrastructure which is growing and improving day by day. The hostels are too good. I choose this college because it has an excellent placement record.
 

Academics Rating
I'm in IPE department, which is the core branch of the college. The college offers several branches including CSE, IT, ECE, Electrical, VLSI, Mechanical, IPE, Civil, Chemical, Textile, and Biotech. All these branches have decent placement records. The eligibility criteria to get admission in the college is to get more than 75% in 12th and clear the cutoff of the JEE Mains.
 

Faculty Rating
The academic curriculum is hard and you have to study regularly in order to get good marks. For exams, you have to put a little extra effort and the assignments are as usual. The teaching of the faculty is good and they are well qualified.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell. Companies hire large number of students from the college. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Wipro, Nivedia, etc. visit the campus. Last year, around 600+ students got placed in total of 750 students.
 

Hostel Rating
We have the most beautiful hostel with an eye-catching and well maintained garden. It has a good mess. The faculty members have different apartments inside the campus. The infrastructure is too good and some are in building process.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic building is in the center of our campus in front of it there is a beautiful central lawn with a fountain. The structure of the college is well-planned. Different department buildings have been built all over the campus. All the branches buildings have well furnished classrooms with projectors.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd of the NIT Jalandhar is good. We have leaned lots of things from the people who came from the different corner of our country. There are lots of clubs at least 20-25 in our college. You can join any club of your interest. 2 fests are organised in our college, one is Utkansh and other one is Techniti, both are celebrated for 3 days.

    Earlier, I was not about to take admission here but as the situations changed after my JEE Mains result, this institute was offering me the best I could get based on my rank, Information Technology. I searched about this institute and got mixed reviews. Somehow I finally decided to take admission here.     I have joined the college in year 2023. It has all the facilities for the student. It is located in Jamshedpur and city itself a vey known place.
