Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology B.Tech Review By Manish Kumar

I got BPIT through IPU counselling and JEE Mains CRL. The branch was allotted to me was Electronics and Communication Engineering. The surroundings and environment at the college is too good, also there is cleanliness, and peaceful surroundings around it. The societies and clubs are mostly active with variations, such as Dramatics, Fashion, Tech, Coding, Sports and many more. Faculties are also very helpful and knowledgeable. These all things made me enter in this college. Also, if we talk about placements, it is overall great (in B.Tech), also internship opportunities are also good, if someone work little bit hard, as guided by seniors.

To enter in this college, one must have valid JEE Mains Rank and should have at least 3.8 Lakh rank, to get enrolled in any B.Tech Program. After, One should take part in IPU Counselling B.Tech (Code-131), then after choice filling, student get seat on the behalf of preferences filled, and JEE Mains Rank. After that, one have to pay fee of 96K (as per 2024) for seat acceptance, then have to report physically to college with documents for verification. Another method to enter this college is through Management Quota. Earlier, huge amount have been charged by college to enter through Management Quota, but from 2023 admissions in this quota is based on 12th Percentage and JEE Mains Rank. For Management Quota you have to register with amount of 60K. If you can’t get seat, then total of 55K will be refunded to you, after deducting 5K for the same. Motive to get enrolled in this program is that I found broader knowledge, and opportunities and to make my future safe and comfortable.

If we talk about faculties, almost all faculties hold a Ph.D degree, and have wider knowledge in their respective field. They are also helpful and available all the time in College, as well as after the college on phone calls or online chats to clear all the doubts. Some faculties also guide us for our future, and self growth. But, there are some faculties also, who sometimes feel annoying and disturbed all the time. They sometimes deduct the marks of students for some silly reasons, etc. Also, style of teaching of some faculties are amazing, they teach us like our friends, make us understand each and every point and sometimes let us bunk our classes, and understand our life problems also. But, there are exceptions also; some faculties (2 or 3) are strict. Their teaching method sometimes felt worst, no practical knowledge of subject.

There is a Training & Placement Department at our college. It remains active all the time in college. They help students of all programs to get desired placements. They often invite various companies time to time for various placement drives. Before sitting in Placements, they guide and train the batch, and teach us basic fundamentals of interview, about communication skills, resume making, etc. Some companies like IBM, Wipro, DXC Technologies, Infosys, TCS, ZS Associates, JusPay, Josh Technologies, Tomato, Mobikwik, Commvault, CHHAYOS, ION, HashesIn, and still counting visit the campus.

The Hostel Facilities at BPIT is only available for Girls, not for boys. But Boys can reside at PGs, as there are many PGs around the college. So, I can’t tell much about Hostel Facilities, as I don’t reside in PGs also.

The Campus Contains 2 Buildings, each floor dedicated to one department and a common library for all. We have 4 departments in college, i.e., CSE, IT, ECE and EEE. These all departments are divided in each floor. The infrastructure is average, not that much great. Classes are good, but no ACs available. ACs are only available for faculties and in New Building, Boys Common Room, Girls Common Room are present. So, students who are in ECE Department are benefitted little bit more as compared to other departments. Labs are also above average, with AC only in Computer Lab. Computer Labs are not well equipped with latest technologies. Old Generation Computers are present, so you have to carry your laptop with you for better experience. The Infrastructure of library is very excellent, with almost all books, and a chilled place to study.

If I rate my campus life out of 5, it will be 4. Malhaar, the Fest of college, happens every year, with popular singers and celebrities invited and students with faculties enjoy too much. Also, various types of events happen time to time with industry experts. If we talk about main ground and sports facilities, these are also very good. Almost all types of Indoor and Outdoor Sports are available to play. You can play sports every day, even without leaving your classes, as the time table is very flexible and good. Peer group and seniors are overall good, seniors help us to solve our every problem related to college, and regarding studies also. Crowd is also decent in college, you can get enough time and space with your friends to chill in its main ground and Central Lawn. Canteen food is average, and we have 3 canteens at our college with almost all varieties of street food, juices, shakes, etc. One can enjoy a good life at BPIT.
